1st Post - 6.1 installed, GPS OK, can browse, but no other connections!

Hello all! My first posting here on what looks to be a great community...

I have an unlocked BJII, and have upgraded (thanks to all the great posts here) to WM6.1, cleanly on the 2nd try (after modem software installation!).

I have applied all the app unlocks, have .NET3.5, enabled the GPS, tested and works great- verified with GPSTest etc.

All my T-Mobile GPRS and proxy settings are in place (still working on MMS though- not enough time for everything yet!) and can browse the internet just fine, although slowly as you know (GPRS... meh.)

The problem I am having is this:

Any OTHER applications that need connectivity, such as GOOGLE MAPS, LIVE SEARCH and PocketTunes when streaming internet radio audio streams) does NOT "see" the internet connection! I can live without my radio streams (for a while) but I really, really want my Live Search and Google maps to work. Especially now that I've gone through getting the on-board GPS to function.

Has anyone else had this issue?
