that is a shortcut function. click on the + to add your program to that shortcut

Someone has probably asked this in some threads before I tried searching for the ans but it's not tat simple trying to search for particular specifics... So i'm still gonna ask this qn here anyway =P

Is there any other ways to edit XML file in omnia itself other than installing total comdr?

Is there something like an xml editor or Windows' Notepad equivalent?

The Notes programs of WM is quite quirky when it comes to handling XMLs...yucks

Thanks for all the comments, good to know everything is working alright. Of course there might be a few little kinks here and there but as long as it doesn't disrupt your daily use I think it is acceptable. Don't forget, phone companies have many staff to work on their stock ROMs but custom ROM cookers are only single/maybe two people :lol:

Anyone knows what name has the background file of the Touchlaunch I want to change that to but I can find-it or I am blind. Thanks.

Go to \Program Files\TouchLaunch\Skins\. All background and xml are there. Also under Menu, there is a Skin option where you can change the skins. You probably might need to change the settings in the xml though. Think you need to replace all 268 with 348 or something.

having a problem with comms manager>wireless lan. Am unable to activate wifi thru the settings widget. That area is greyed out and unselectable.

somehow a reset manage to solve it. Anyone having the same experience?

Also, take note that if Activesync is connected, WiFi will not turn on, it is a function of the CommsMgr.

I was sucessfully able to flash M2D to my Omnia but I got few problems and hope someone can help me sort this out...

1. Its very difficult to Scroll bar, Select Check box and Radio Buttons using the Stylus and even my fingers

2. When I click on Progam (Lower Right hand side), In list of progams it shows "+ + + + + + +" where are all the programs gone?

3. How do I add some more options (like message, windows live, GPS) on the front screen (under calender)

I had to edit because some of the questions I found the solutions

Did you hardreset after flashing, I found that it helps. Now it can select small check boxes and radio buttons with my fat-ish fingers and most of the time it hits the spot.

Don't think I'll want to edit xml files on the device itself, probably will get a headache just scrolling all the lines on such a small screen :D

PaSSoA, thanks now it works well. One more help how to I change the skins? As you mentioned Program Files\TouchLaunch\Skins\ has listed many skins how do i use them? Pls explain in brief as I am total newbie to Omnia as well as WM . And lastly I cant play youtube too.

When you mean youtube is not working, does it mean the page does not load or only the flash player portion? You have to be a little patient as it does take time to load the flash portion. Even though the page might have been done, in the background flash is still loading.

Btw, for those looking for the original TaskSwitcher, I put it in a CAB here. Tested on my device and works as it should.

one thing bugging me though, is there any way or program that will enable the flashlight at the back of the phone for use as a torch?

i tried searching the forums but only found programs which turn the screen white, and holding down the volume key doesnt work anymore :lol:

Try disabling Magic Button to not Start automatically and reboot. Not 100% sure if it solves the problem though.

I don't use UC so anyone who has had experience should comment. I think the only person who commented on it so far was new2city.

Make sure you set Opera to be Identified as a Desktop Computer under Advanced Settings, and do not go to the mobile version.

Theoretically, yes. Also there are chinese fonts which you can download, wingw has confirmed it works for him. Check out the 2nd post in this thread for the link.

i'm trying to find a way to map a different dialer with TALK button, maybe you find a way how to execute different dialer [ like iDialer ] with Talk button?

Ok, my first post here, so hello. I've installed the new rom and it works like a charm, I'm getting one little problem though thats nagging me. When i go to my torrent site REVOTT and i go to log in it shuts down everytime! any ideas? Also how do i set opera to use flash 3.1, I've set it to desktop computer, also youtube says that i have javascript turned off or an old version of adobe flash player? Thanks in advance.

Mine works great with version 2 and my parrot. No problem at all, sorry. :lol:

Can anyone upload the folder /program files/touchlaunch/skins .... I removed it by accident and don't want to reflash.
