Doubtful! I like having access to the start button tbh.

Quick qu, everytime I flash, I format the large internal disk. And when I do a hard reset (after flash), it does the same thing.

Do I have to erase the large disk everytime? Take a while to reload 8gb's of music each time I update? I know have to do a hard reset post-flash, perhaps I can just erase the local memory only?

i do not format the large disk when flashing. also, i do not manually hard reset after bootlading a ROM. i have not encountered any problems yet. i have flashed at least 10 times w/o any problems. so, i suppose you needn't erase your music

For some reason I'm not being alerted when I receive new emails. Have both sound and vibrate checked in settings but it seems that when I receive one it just automatically opens up and is saved as read. On M2D02.

Anyone else had problems?

edit: whatever, let me copy it here:

"my weathercities.xml file's content is not recognized by manilla2d.exe! unable to add any cities! has not anyone encountered the same issue? i have encountered it for the original m2d03 and the fixed one etc.

edit: found the solution. if anyone else is encountering the same problem, remove ".xml" part from the name of the xml file. as far as i know, manilla.exe is searching for "HH_xxx_WeatherCities" instead of "HH_xxx_WeatherCities.xml". i have tried and the problem is solved. "

probably: HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml

I have the same problem and I've discovered that the bug was in sj-samsungtoda2 that I've installed with Today2 in order to have also this interface that I love. When I uninstalled sj-samsungtoday2 the vibration was ok.

Anyone know where I can download a version of samsung today2 without bugs ?

One qns on the photo album in M2D.

After double clicking on the photo in the frame and it opens up the photo full size, it supports all the default HTC gestures to zoom in & out, rotate the photos in full screen.

But I realised that if I do a clockwise circle to zoom in the photo, it's very difficult (almost impossible) to try to drag the expanded photo to view at a particular region that was expanded outside the screen. Whenever I tried to drag to re-position the photo, it always ended up moving to the next or previous photo instead.

Do u guys experience this as well?

And the irritaing thing abt this album viewer is that it's alwaying shows displaying the circle or line which my finger draws on the screen.

Just wanna know whether this is normal or am I missing something here....

lol! the opera browser is half the phone value. Browsing with opera browser is amazing, on IE it's just dumb.

Is it possible to override the behaviour of when you click the quick dial portrait of someone in M2D?

Right now it opens windows mobile contact view.

Would it be possible to make it so that it opens the same view as when you tap a contact in the samsung phonebook?

I had tried using File Explorer as well as Windows Explorer via ActiveSync, but none worked, I just hard reset and still I am unable to delete the old file or even unable to replace the file because of permission?

how to make manilla open silverinbox when "All messages" is tabbed PaSSoA? i suppose manilla2D.exe needs to be hex edited. i am not an expert on the hex code of Manilla therefore, i myself would not manage this change easily.

Its a very good ROM, but

when u go to the last screen on the right to Add Programs where the + signs are, and you press All Programs, it simply doesnt do anything....

Has anyone else experieced that???
