Vodafone no more

Hi can someone point me in the right direction or advise which rom to download so as to delete all vodafone files,settings etc from my omnia. I bought it unlocked but still can't get it set up properly on my o2 sim. I just want to be able to stick in the sim, download all settings and go, hopefully. Am on the point of selling the thing and going back to an iphone.....PLease help

I have Voda UK and cleaned it out with HI3 firmware. I have since upgraded to Pauls fine cooked rom...

Just follow instructions on this site and all will go well.

make sure you down load

Active Sync 4.5 first

Then Samsung Moden driver

Then the firmware

No ASV4.5 loads and works on Vista you get choice at download.....

But please read all firmware instructions and you will find that firmware rom .exe files are for XP only.

Use on Vista and you will brick your phone.

Please take caution and read the upgrade posts fully........

Thanks for warning. I'll borrow laptop from parents it runs XP. Just hope I can figure out what I'm doing. Never tried anything like this before in fact didn't even know such a thing existed til yesterday.....lol :lol:
