Guest srprim
Hi! which tcpmp version do you use for youtube playback? Some of you use it for youtube but it doesn´t work for me, and everytimes I try to play a flv file it crashes. I love tcpmp and I´d really like to use it for youtube. Thanks! I reply to myself because I have searched long time and just now I found the answer. I had all I need to make flv works but installed in he wrong way. Now I deleted tcpmp folders from "device" and "my storage" (I had in both places). After that I installed tcpmp in the device (not in "my storage" that was the problem), and later the flasvideobundle in the device also. Once it is finished, install ac3 an h216 plugins in "my storage". Softreset the omnia and everything works, even flv videos!! I´m really happy now! I´m sorry for the bad inglish, but I think it easy to understand. Anyway If anyone want to put in correct words...
Guest tommyq2007
I'm currently using CorePlayer on my Omnia, I also installed W.V.D (Web Video Downloader) which search and download Flash video like youtube and stuff. Every time I click on play, it will automaticly load the Coreplayer and then will have a error that says "Unknown file format". Can core Player play *.flv files? and where can I find the plug in for it? Thanks for your help Here's what's on my Samsung Omnia: ROM: i900DTHJ9/M2D03 WkTask - A much stable task manager and "x" button close application that I've tested. I'm going to be sticking on this one for now. MapKing 2007 - Map/GPS application CorePlayer - Multimedia player (mostly videos), better than Windows Media Player (in my opinion) SK Shortcut Manager - Manange shortcuts, change icons etc. SK Tools - Perform RAM FreeUp, AutoClean, Registry tools, Backup (error on POCKETSYS) etc. Spb Screenshot - Take screenshots Spb Wallet - Store important infos (eg. credit card details, passwords, bank accounts etc.) Spb Traveler - International currency converter (i liked it), weather, time, shoe and clothes sizes, unit converter etc. Spb Finance - I love to record my expenses, credits, debits and sorts. Spb Backup - Backup utility (error on POCKETSYS like other backup tools. Any suggestions?) Spb Time - Just installed this. Tried Klaxon and G-Alarm to no satisfaction. I have yet to try one alarm application that I would stick to. Best Crypto - To encrypt and decrypt my "forbidden" files. VITO SMS-Chat - A nice touch friendly sms application. A good alternative. PowerSMS - A great SMS scheduler, send group messages, sms auto reply and backup utility. VITO FunContact - Works great with VITO SMS-Chat. Also a nice touch friendly contacts application. Resco Pocket Radio - Good streaming radio player. It's great that I can also can add stations to it. Palringo - Yahoo, Windows Live, AIM, ICQ and Google messenger in ONE. I love this. HandyShopper - Just to organize some lists, to-buy etc. Adobe Reader - PDF Reader Pocket Artist - Image editor so much like Photoshop (cool) EMims PocketNetCBZ - My fave. Comics reader (*.cbz) format only. I can convert downloaded comics and read it on my OMNIA now. (of course, the desktop version is still the best and easier to use, but I'm liking this little reader on my OMNIA now) M2DC - M2D Themes management and backup utility. Resco Explorer - File browser MagiCall - Call and SMS blocker I also installed NoData/OMNIA Thread and SIP. So far, so good. Feel free to share your list and maybe I can be convinced to install one too. :( Oh, and NO links to illegal applications here. Better safe than sorry. At least we could maximize the use of PM though! :)

Guest Devin C
My Verizon 910 has: SPB Pocket Plus - Great app to customize your Today screen(s) (shareware). Also includes a massive amount of other neat utilities, including smart scroll for many programs, task manager and close button app, button definer, taskbar battery indicator, file explorer enhancements, tabbed and finger scrolling PIE, improved file open and save dialogues, and safe mode reset. Here is my Today Screen with a custom Angels Baseball theme I made. You can see Weather Bug and Today Agenda on it as well. Today Agenda 1.5 - Awesome appointment and task plug in for Today Screen...very customizable and robust Weather Bug Direct - Best free weather plug in for Today Screen I have seen. Works for the US and I think UK. Not sure about elsewhere. SPB Backup - Nice easy to use backup utility. Comes with a plug-in telling you how long since your last backup. AM Music ID - Amazing app that listens to music being played and identifies the song. Has a massive databse of songs...in fact have yet to stump it on anything with lyrics. Have stumped it on a few instrumentals. Get the fixed font version that works on WQVGA. JB Piano - Piono on your touch screen. 49 keys. Can record and playback too. Neat little toy. Vade Mecum - Plucker ebook reader. Read the classics for free. Nice little program with bookmark features and you can adjust the font size and type. PocketScreen - Screen Capture program. Easy to use. VS Painter LE - Free paint/draw program that is full featured. Runs in WQVGA mode though just leaves seom white space at the bottom of the screen. Ticker Tape - Freeware program to track stocks and show charts for indices and shares. Memaid - Very useful tool to monitor RAM and system usage, memory, clean up the system, and to kill items in the Notification Queue (shareware). S2u2 - A great slide to unlock program that turns the lock screen into almost a second Today Screen. The latest version 1.36 fixes an issue on the Omnia where the screen rotate would sometimes mess up the unlock screen and require a soft reset. Newest version has an option to disable screen rotation for the S2u2 screen. So far works well. Bag-o-Bones - Best polyhedral freeware program out there for those of you who play RPGs and other games. Pocket Tender - Look up any drink and how to mix it. Have many more, but those are the somewhat unique non-games that I haven't seen mentioned in this thread. Devin

That'll be totally awesome. I somehow prefer rest of the default things only, but I haven't tried third-party apps either. I've tweaked my phone to make it suitable for myself so it's good enough. Guest geoleo68
I've had my Omnia for about a month, as an upgrade on my very serviceable Sony Ericson W880i and a replacement for my HP 2190. I wanted something that merged both gadgets in one.... and this one is trully THE gadget to have. After reading a lot here and other forums this is what I got running now. User Interface SPB Mobile Shell 3.0.1 Build 6456 (a must have) SPB Traveler SPB Weather SPB Time (really needs to be upgraded by SPB to match the versatility of SPB MS 3 but still works fine) SkinChanger Apps Skyfire (better than Opera, can watch Flash content and youtube) SK Tools Registry Explorer chgFingerMouse (exe that lets you program a button to switch between mouse of 4-way pad) GPS Navigation Google Maps IGO8 + Though Tele-Atlas maps for Mexico have a lot of errors + Thought about installing Tom Tom but IGo works fine Games Assasins Creed Tiki Towers Resco Bubbles SPB Brain Evolution Naval Conflicts Smart Simon BlackJack Gold Pocket Sudoku SPB Sudoky Simon Tatham's Portable Puzzle Collection Other Apps S2U2 (looked nice but had to uninstall... kept crashing my phone)
