no need for additional software, you can find "rotate screen" in the list of assignable actions in Buttons settings.

You have to change the registry, if you use Totalcmd, it'll be in \\Plugins folder.

Change the following key in --> [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:MSCONTACTS]

\Windows\SecContact.exe <--- changed this value to :MSPOUTLOOK contacts

This does not work for me

on the right key there is allways the samsung contact

that's because that is probably still pointed at samsung contact which is \Windows\SecContact.exe

check [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\113\OPEN]

Hi,

I installed this rom and it's working fine. I also installed the manila 2d on this rom version now.

I have a problem running the youtube videos but. How can I view them please.

I now it might be a stupid question, but when I'm trying to see a video it's telling me "Cannot play this video".

Perfect

You are great

This is turning out to be pretty sweeet.

Has anyone been able to play youtube videos over GPRS? I got them to work (with Flash 3.1) via WiFI, but the video players don't even show up when I'm using GPRS.

I wonder if t-mobile (USA)'s proxy kills it...hmmmm.

That would be too bad- as I don't think i'm gonna opt for 3G.

Also, is there a way to access the "Desktop PC" version of youtube, even when Opera is set to identify you as a "Handheld Device"?

Can you summarize please the fixes you have done?

it is not clear in the first post, as it is not dated, so am a bit confused between the 2 LTE02 .

Thanks a lot

is it possible to post the fixes separately for those upgraded already ?

I am still not familiar with UC, therefore I have to spend about 4~5 hours to reconfigure the whole thing again..

I have the office fix, but the other fixes ? can you post them somewhere ?

thks

Not really my friend, there was some issues with the previous ROM during building.

I upgraded to the LT02 ( yesterday version) and want to add the Samsung today 1&2 .

I tries those of Dr.Dot , found here some place) but only the today2 is working . The today 1 , has no icons , only small txt for the icon name.

Any solutions ?

if the solution will contain themes , where can I find them, and how to find them later on to apply ?

Thanks in advance

A few have had problems upgrading the phone portion, you should try changing the region of the phone. Sorry I can't help more, but I think there are some solutions posted... Nevertheless, the PDA should be updated, just not the phone portion.

This is an odd one. I successfully flashed to i900_LTE01_PaS08 pda and pnone OK. When I tried flashing to i900_LTE02fix_PaS08 PDA OK phone failed - The usb shows Samsung modem port 2 as it did on the phone portion of LTE01. So I dled and tried i900_M2D03fix_PaS08. Same problem PDA ok Phone fails. I'm trying again with LTE02fix but it still fails so I'll try HJ1 and report back. When it gets to the phone part the phone does not reboot but the usn dieconnects and reconnects and moves from port 1 to port 2. (as it has always done. After this fails the Omnia is frozen and needs a battery out to restart - no phone.

OK getting worried now - Flashed to HJ1 - phone still failed. So fired it up and changed the region to Singapore as per Pauls post. Restarted and reflashed still PDA OK and phone fails!

I have been using VMware worktation 6 without any issues up to now so Ill install the modem onto a xp laptop and try from there - just in case

If this fails can I use Grandprix to flash the phone only? Good job I hadn't sold my trusty TyTn !

Ha OK using the XP laptop and all is well the phone is flashing and Im up to LTE02fix - wonder why the VMware wouldn't do it this time? Anyway back in action - now to find some nice 6.1 roms for the TyTn (vario II)!

***Heaves a sigh of relief! ***

I forgot to mention...

When i flashed lite02 the upgrade stopped on usb connection on com3....... and the phone failed to upgrade.

Then I rebooted the phone withthe stylus on the hole, and then I got the Phone triangle error.

Then I repeated the process and the phone upgraded too successfully and then rebooted to the new version ok..

This version of Samsung Today 2 worked for me, but i can't remember where I found it. Crap it's too big. Filename is: SJ Samsung-Omnia_Today-2.cab. I found it on google. I'll try to find the website later, as now I have to go to work.

Also here is the Samsung Menu to go along with Today (launcher). You can install it first

Dr.DoT_launcher.cab
