Guest epdm Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 (edited) Omega! ;) Hi ppl, I've adjusted this theme to fit the Omnia even better. It's included as well. It no has a longer email-page and the photos are better vertically centered (see attached jpegs). Come on guys, these are just small things that make these themes so much more polished. I've included the necesarry xml-code to use it yourselfs Anyway, enjoy this great looking theme. And thank you Zubnik for the original. Below you'll find the required xml-code to adjust the photos-tab COmbined with my long-email-xml (also below) and we can build better Omnia compatible themes. So please ppl, USE it. <PhotoWidget> <Property name="IDPHOTO_IMG_FRAME_4_3" id="0" value="hh_photo_frame_4_3.bmp" /> <Property name="IDPHOTO_IMG_FRAME_4_3_MASK" id="1" Guest epdm Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 HI, how to change WALLPAPER in today screen ? ;) You need Manilla 2D Customizer (I use v 0.28.233). This has a background tab which you direct to a background.png of your choice. Then click Apply. That's the easiest way to change the background. You also need the Customizer to install/activate these theme files so you should be familiar with it. Cheers, EPDM
Guest epdm Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 is this for new manila or for v1 of manila? slds, That theme was released for TouchFlo 1. As mentioned in one of my previous post I use v1.0.1818.3719 (AKA M2D v19 AKA M2D_Full_Omnia1818.3719.zip) Which is known as the stable v1 for Omnia. It's availabe as a single cab-file.

Guest epdm Posted December 14, 2009 Report Posted December 14, 2009 (edited) OK ppl, To complement my post yesterday. I've (finally) discovered a bit more about the Home-tab screen. I decided to share what I've found with you guys (and dolls). Since what I've discovered so far isn't complete I hope that the knowledgable ppl also contribute by filling in the blanks. I've used this knowledge to perfect the supplied skin of my aio-cab of M2D V1.0.1818.3719 to my liking. I've supplied this skin if anybody likes it. My comments are in red. Included are screens o/t pages that are modified to fit the Omnia a bit better. I particularly spaced out the clock, alarm and call-log/callender items to fit the WQVGA-screen better. As must users keep that area cramped together and only adjust backgrounds and the weather tab. A pitty since the home screen is the first thing you see when showing of your Omnia ;-) I noticed that certain ppl make a complete effort (the nissan-black theme comes to mind) to space out items better. The email and photos-screens are done with the info from my previous post, they are included to complete the picture. Anyway I hope this info is valuable for anybody interested in making or modifiying themes for our Omnia. <HomeWidget> <!-- value="horizontal, vertical" or value="hor.top, hor.bottom, vert.top, Guest fatpomp Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 HI, how to change WALLPAPER in today screen ? ;) You can change the today wallpaper by going to Start\Settings\Home\Appearance. Then check use this picture as background then push browse and select your wallpaper. This will only change the home wallpaper and the wm lock wallpaper. If you want to change the wallpapers for the other m2d tabs like messages, internet and so on you need to use m2dc.
Guest AnhPhe Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009   HI, how to change WALLPAPER in today screen ? Rename two pictures "hh_fw_background.png" & "hh_fw_focus_background.png" copy to  windows\ folder
Guest epdm Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 (edited) Hi fellows, My final adjustements on that default Omnia theme from Post #2561. This is probably now one o/t most well-fitted Black Omnia themes available for M2D v1. I like this very much. The weather screen is perfect (most themes cutt off the big icons at the right side a bit) What have I done so far. 1) Home screen Adjusted the digital clock, alarmclock, call history and calendar to fit the Omnia screen better. Made de yellow alarm arm on the analog clock the same cyan-blue as the alarm icon. 2) Contacts Nothing 3) Messages Made the unread messages bubble blue instead of dark grey. It's the slightly draker cyan as the digital clock on the homescreen. 4) Mail Made the background paper taller and lowered the enveloppe to fit the page better. This makes more text vissible. Made the both unread email bubbles blue (similar to the slightly darker cyan o/t digital clock on the homescreen). This was dark grey in the original theme. 5) internet Included 22x22pixel icons for the RSS-reader and Internet Sharing (which I use often) You still need to adjust the registry to include these options. I have included the CEREG-file. It's in the M2D-omnia-internet-tab-mods.zip. 6) Music Adjusted the items so they're spread out more over the Omnia's taller screen. 7) Photos Removed the videocamera button/icon because it leads to the same camera-function as the camera-icon. I would have liked to change the name of that page from 'Photos & Videos' into 'Photos' but I don't know where I can do that. Also since I already taken too much time to perfect this theme I'm not going to bother. 8) Programs and settings Done nothing because they were already OK to my liking. (I don't use the settings page anyway) I hope you like what I"ve done. Credits go to all the ppl who contributed in finding out the xml-settings. Thanks guys. Enjoy this classic dark theme. The theme itself will be in the following post as I only have 4.88MB total space for attachments Enjoy the themeM2D_omnia_internet_tab_mods.zip Edited December 17, 2009 by epdm
Guest epdm Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 Hi fellows, [snipped the text] The theme itself will be in the following post as I only have 4.88MB total space for attachments Enjoy the theme Unrar the rar-file, copy the m2dct-file somewhere on your omnia and install for use with M2DC That should do the trick. A small tip. These m2dct-files are in reality zip-files. If you want to see what's inside rename their extension to zip. Then you can play with the images and xml-code. Enjoy the theme. Guest Pearl Jam Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 Hey Fellas - I have a i910 and would love to add M2D to my 6.5. First - can I use M2D that works on i900 Second - can anyone recomend a good one to download (link please ;) Third - Any ideas where I can find a M2D theme like the one in Dheerewata's 28005 ROM - it looks like there are animated stars in the background , maybe associated with the weather widget? I really like the look of the animation and the layout. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Stars *** No Stars*** Thanks everyone!!!

Flash to a I900 M2D rom and start from there. Then search through the post and pick one of the themes and install using M2DC. Or start at I think it's post 92 and install M2D 2.0 to your I900. I would just flash to a new I900 Rom as you'll get more bang for your time. Hope this helped. ;)
Guest josephkh Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 Two clock for M2D v2.0 default: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Manila2D\Home] "ClockType"=dword:00000001 Â Change 1 to 0Â [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Manila2D\Home] "ClockType"=dword:00000000 Â This is nice!!! You said you have an i910 you can use one of those roms found here i910 Specific Omnia ROM discussion - WinMo @ MoDaCo. If I were you I would just flash it like davidic55 said. Waremike32's fleo rom has Titanium and M2D2 cooked in together. I'm using Airreak's rom it has only M2d 2.0 cooked in. Then like davidic55 said you can find a theme here that has the weather in the background like you want. The theme you were asking about is on page 112 post #2237.;) Edited December 18, 2009 by fatpomp
