the theme should work on any ROM, build is irrelevant its a .tsk file that windows uses for themes in the Today settings..

I post my version which is off the ROM, and works for me. So it should work for you. If it doesn't i do not have a clue as will most people.

Give it a go if you haven't got it working yet?

downoad file, extract it, give you .tsk file..

Just to reitterate, you need to place it in your windows directory in the Omnia, and then select it in the Today settings (start, settings, today, select theme).

Brilliant thanks. I had done exactly these steps with two other versions of the black and white tsk (one from here and one from mobilematt's site) but they didn't work. This one did. Thanks again

M2D03 and 04 are complete ROMS. These are unofficial versions of the phones firmware system with (in this case) Manilla 2D already installed, various apps taken out and others added. M2D03 is the previous version released by Passoa and 04 is the latest which includes the landscape launcher.

You can install Manilla as an application on any ROM but I find the M2D roms easier, more stable and use less system memory. To find out which ROM you have, go to Settings > System > Version and it will say PDA: i900XXXXX/XXXXX. The XX's will tell you what ROM version you are on. In my case it is DTHJ9/M2D03

Oh, I see... Well it seems like it's really better to install full ROM, despite the fact that I don't think there is any in my language (and I'm installing it not only for me). So what about my regionalized version of Manilla (which i wrote here) on some branded, regionalized ROM - will it work with theese themes?

I've been tinkering a little and modded the black and white theme to a Nissan one which, if I say so myself, looks pretty slick :rolleyes:

I just added a Nissan logo PNG over the existing clock but I think it works quite well:

I also made a darkened version for the PM screen:

Credit to maxycy and MobileMatt for the theme, all I've done is tweak the two home screens.

then Add search your theme an aply

Its a weird m2dct file not sure how to edit that one...

This is mended for QVGA devices resolution 240x320. We have (Omnia) 240x400 that's why u see the left space under. There are the 400-320=80 pixels left blank :rolleyes:. I will resized it if u want and fix it for Omnia.

please could you post how to mod a manila theme to fit omnia ? what images I have to change in resolution? what resolution? and what else?

I think that the images to change are :

HH_LOCATION_MAP_BASE_MAP.png --> 240x168

HH_LOCATION_MAP_10.png --> 240x202

hh_fw_background.png --> 240x400

and I have to change also the original HTCHomeSettings.xml with the one for Omnia resolution...

yes that's the ones. I dont usually edit the MAPS cause it is waste of time but when i did some of them it is better to resize from 1-10 and the base ofc.

the "hard" part it is the XML file. anw i think i have made so many themes and you can check my xml so that you can copy the elements and values to your needs.

I was thinking to try modifying some WAD skins but as this program is buggy i have me second thoughts. We will see if i have more free time.

Dude i tried but always i get the SMS tab stacked. Same happens with all the themes of this artist... dont know what he is using or maybe the original M2D has some different settings handling images.
