Guest GodsGift Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 Guys I am hoping this isnt just me being stupid and someone can help. Actually if it is me being stupid then there should be an easy answer ... anyway ... I have Passoa's awesome M2D firmware installed and have backed up the original theme and installed other themes successfully. Problem is that my device storage space gets used everytime I apply a theme. When I revert back to the original or apply another theme more space gets used. After applying a couple of themes I have no storage space on my device. It doesnt seem to be freed up. i.e. after firmware 60MB My Device Storage (all figures approx) backup original theme 40MB apply new theme 30MB restore original theme & delete new theme 20 MB Is there a way to clear out old unapplied themes? (No removing the theme and deleting the file doesnt do it as I store them themes on My Storage) Thanks alot and keep up the stunningly good work! GG
Guest sector Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 Please save the themes to a folder in "My Storage" and apply them from there. Transfer all the themes in that folder and add the folder from M2DC
Guest GodsGift Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 Please save the themes to a folder in "My Storage" and apply them from there. Transfer all the themes in that folder and add the folder from M2DC Thanks Sector ... all themes are stored on My Storage and applied from there. "Transfer all the themes in that folder and add the folder from M2DC" I can do that and apply themes using M2DC and then delete them after but the storage on My Device still gets devoured. Can you configure M2DC to store the actual applied themes on My Storage? GG
Guest sector Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 Yes. I installed the new version of M2DC in my \My Storage\. I save the themes in \My Storage\Program Files\M2DC\Themes\ I go to M2DC and chose that folder for my themes and apply them from there now. No problem at all and u save space. Delete or move all the themes from your \Device to your \My Storage\. It is simple i think, like in normal Windows systems (xp, vista etc).
Guest dede99 Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 (edited) I don't get this how to change themes with M2DC, it work's only if I copy all files to windows folder. Am I missing something? Yes I missed it to leave the .zip file as it is B) it works now OMG nooooooooob me Edited November 11, 2008 by dede99
