Problem with Custom ROMs : General Program Crashes

I have tried nearly all of the ROMS released on this forum. Below are the latest ones I have tested:

Custom "Lite" (LTE01) ROM on DTHJ6 with FlashLite3.1 & UC, Lite version with working FL3.1 and user customization (UC)

Custom ROM: MoDaCo DTHJ6-MCR02 - Last update 23/10/08

I had random program crashes (gwres.dll, and some other .exe programs even if I did not install any programs after a hard reset) with DTHJ6-MCR02 and MCR01. And also, I could not install WebCamera Plus (www.ateksoft.com) with these ROMs also (tried to install to main memory just after a hard reset).

But I did not have any of these problems with LTE01.

The problem may be with the optimizations that Paul (MVP) did or with a bug during packing the ROM. I had read the forums and saw that I am not the only user that faces this problem.

So are you confirming that you don't have any problems with my LTE01 ROM? B'cos I've not had a single report on a crash so far, even with my M2D02 ROM.

On Dr.Dot's first rom, I had several slow-downs and hangs.

On Paul's and Passoa's first roms each, the only time I run into a problem is when closing TomTom7 I get an error message (on both roms). On Paul's I also had fring closing on me randomly. On Passoa's 1st, this happens on predictable occasions (when using ram-hungry apps).

For me, Passoa's first is the first rom I've had in a long time that I'm quite happy staying with. Inspite of this little TT7 glitch and the occasional fring shutdown, it is wicked fast, has plenty of device storage, has M2D and Flash Lite 3.1 plus Opera working.

Whatever enhancement they've done behind the curtain, they're certainly on the right track. Well done!
