Hi! Im new to the forum, i found it cuz of Paul XPERIA review.

Im considering buying this phone, but since im such a fan of mobile gaming, i would really like you all to give me your results with your own XPeria and games out there (free or not) for it, how campatible it is with released one, problesm with its resolution/processor...

I woudl also love if any of you could post any experience with Emulators!! I read is not running PocketSnes (.....)

Any1 tried with the FPSCE PS1 emu? plz tell mee cuz this is a decesive factor on me getting the X1, beacuase im used to N80 and N95 Symbian and their gaming facilities were so many. I gues WInMO will never reach that level :S

As you can see. i have no experience at all with Windows Mobile. Thank you in advance!! (any list of games, links or explanations about this matter a would be gr8  )

there are millions of ways for gaming on a WinMo device. After all you can run WinMo Games, Java Games and Emulators for all kind of stuff so i dont see where a symbian based phone could be better in this respect but i dont have much experience with that either.

The X1 shouldnt be an exception but its resolution could cause trouble for some apps...but i dont think what will be for long and most of the stuff should work out of the box.

FPSCE wont work that good because its doesnt support the X1s 3d Chip, maybe that will be done in the future sometime.

Unfortunatly i will get my X1 tomorrow, so i should be able to tell you then because thats something i will be trying for sure (emulators and stuff)

awesome man! i really wait for your impressions in this whole matter!

I read somewhere that jar games for symbian could simply be played in PPC with a java emulator or something like that.... is that true?

in that case, i was wondering, could we resize the jar resolution (ive done that so i could play the 320x240 games in my 416x368 (or something like that) N80....

then, if we for example resize to VGA and play it on X1 oir any PPC, it has more cpu power so it could run it smooth. Wait. I just realized it is mot likley not a processor matter XD

It's not quite nice to play with a PPC the java games: 1) the resolution makes te game playble at left superior corner like a little stamp and if your device has not a keyboard it's impossible to play! In most cases the games run not fluid at all with graphic problems.
