Guest Adrynalyne Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 (edited) Not a fan of flowers and all, but it looks nice. I really like the tile effect. Makes me wish I could work with graphics. Edited February 23, 2009 by Adrynalyne

The sunflowers was just for testing because i have it in portrait and landscape. The tile effect was done with the effects in the free irfanview. Simple to do.
Guest poloa Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 great work! do you know if the icons on the top of today 2 screen can be changed? Got tired of the Omnias Menu old look (dull white background, dull icons, brown menu bar etc.) so I customized it (took me hours) Before: Now, here's my Omnia menu looks like: Works in landscape mode too... If you want to try my customized Omnia Menu: 1. With Resco Explorer or Total Commander search the file "Launcher.exe.T1.skin" in the /Windows folder (default Omnia file explorer cannot copy/cut/overwrite system files so use Resco Explorer). 2. Copy it to another folder (for back up purpose) 3. Download the attached file(See post #3 for the file). Edit its properties, make it: read-only,hidden and system file (with pc or with Resco Explorer). 4. In the /Windows folder overwrite the "Launcher.exe.T1.skin" with my "Launcher.exe.T1.skin" file 5. Restart Device. Enjoy If want to have the default Omnia Menu again, just place the original "Launcher.exe.T1.skin" file in the /Windows folder. (For the file see post # 3) NOTE: Please take time to post some feedback on this thread. Over a hundred have downloaded the file, so pls. let me know if it worked or bricked your device (joke)j. Give some comments or just a plain thanks would be fine...Thanks :(

When i looked in the windows folder there where several Launcher.exe.T1.skin files. A couple with a strange extension. These where backup files made by the system when i replaced the launcher file. When i deleted these files and kept only the Launcher.exe.T1.skin i got allot of free memory again. Just so you know. Edited March 1, 2009 by dutchencoder

Guest rmac Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Hello. I'm new to the forums and only recently got the US version (i910). Just wondering if anyone has attempted to install these menus on the i910, and if they were successful. Please let me know, as its too early for me to be willing to brick my phone. Thanks. :(
Guest tibor22 Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 (edited) Since I'm not experienced in computer graphics' work, would someone help me to create my own Main Menu background? I don't like to change the original Samsung icons, I just would like to have some graphics instead of white background! And - because I use the following as Today screen - I'd like to have it in Main Menu too (well-known Samsung stuff): Please, create for me a 'Launcher.exe.T1.skin' with these grafics. Thanks in advance for the help! Edited March 1, 2009 by tibor22

Guest Beardedmonk Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Hello. I'm new to the forums and only recently got the US version (i910). Just wondering if anyone has attempted to install these menus on the i910, and if they were successful. Please let me know, as its too early for me to be willing to brick my phone. Thanks. :( They work fine, but because these icons are made for a different rom with different applications preset into the main menu the icons will be different for some of the apps. For example the link to the message app. shows the icon to the phonebook, and the Opera link shows the message icon. I dont think its a big deal so I'm sticking with it.
Guest dwethiswar Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Hello from Russia! B) I Denisan and it is my work, sorry for my bad english :( wow, very nice artwork, especially like the WhiteNeon. Some remarks though: - the 'shortcuts' text doesn't fit into the button - any chance of changing the icons on the shortcuts screen as well? - on the shortcuts->edit screen, there are two white pixels on the left - same screen: the text 'drag and drop' is unreadable as it's black
