If I want to change the image background, only I need to do is replace the 2 BMP file to other picture but remain the same name, right?

Where to set the landscape picture? I know only to set the Portray picture menu\settings\Personal\Today

Who likes the Guava Bubbles interface here is my personal skin

Just changed the white background desktop Menu and shortcuts with the beatifull Guava Bubbles, so everything is like red now :(

I did not change any icons, leave everiting like original

Guys, where to edit in the Launcher.exe.T1.skin to change the white background in Menu\Settings\Personal , Systems and connections

If you want to change a make your personal skin, just follow this steps

1-First find the file Launcher.exe.T1.skin in \windows. The file is hidden.

2-Then you must copy the file to your PC and open it (I've used Reshacker).

3-Then replace the images BMP No 212, 214 (for portrait mode) and No 213 and

215 (for landscape mode) with other bitmap images of the size respectively

240x374 and 400x214.

4- Use in Resco Explorer the "COPY TO" and past Launcher.exe.T1.skin file and

Finally overwrite it in \windows with Resco Explorer.

As far as i know you can only set the portay background for the today screen

I don't know how to set the landscape background for the today screen.

But i don't mind because i use the today screen in portray only.

you can set landscape too; I don't recall the exact procedure, but I read it somewhere, possibly on this forum: instead of the standard today bitmap, you have to make it larger and put the landscape mode next to it. Something like this:

for example look at  this skin: it has both modes, maybe if you doanload it and put it in a theme editor you can see how they did it

Thanks everyone, especially poloa. :( I've been using poloa's blue theme since I purchased my omnia 910 two days ago. I really hated the harsh bright default background and the very basic looking icons. I'm glad people are taking the time to customize it.

i have the same problem. I also can not delete original file or rename it. Even if i try to rename it (to delete it next) the system creates "old" luncher.skin.T1.exe and there are too files (oryginal and renamed). Any idea?

If you have a 3rd party file explorer installed (like resco file explorer or a few others) , you can overwrite the file. I set resco to add the windows folder as a new 'send to' place off the resco menu. Then I just navigate to whichever theme file I want to use on my storage, highlight it and use the 'send to' option in the resco file explorer application's menu. It gives the already exists and are you sure you want to overwrite messages but it overwrites just fine. I backed up the original to my desktop computer first though, and copied it to a folder in my omnia's storage also so I can easily replace it if I ever wanted - though I can't imagine ever wanting that theme back B)

your menus are amazing. is there anyway you can make i910 versions?

due to different bloatware the icons get misplaced (the clock goes to vznav, the fm radio icon goes to the clock, etc)

if not, could you give me a quick overview on how to do it?

the hand made one is so cool.

When you will open a file:

Folder "PNG" - all PNG icons in menu... size 56x60

next folder - all BMP images in menu (background, bottom bar)

But it is all for i900... The structure should be the same)))
