Remove XT9

Hi, I'm currently cooking my own kitchen and i was wondering whether it would be safe and wise to remove the xt9 feature from my ROM as i never use it. In fact I hate the fact that it keeps switching to that mode everytime I reset my device. 

What do you guys think?

Whilst we're on the topic of removing things, does anyone have the packages for DotNet CF and SQL CF 3.5 for the Omnia? Please share the links
