Can't find a working version of TCPMP anywhere - they all crash! What gives, and does anyone know a "definitely working" version with a valid link, or the solution to the "crash.txt" problem that is breaking my balls?

wasn't there some program that allowed your htc touch hd to vibrate with each key press? also are there any progs that make it easier to sms? you can't see what you're doing with that screen. are there alternate sms modes (e.g. number pad with T9)

Here you go guys, a list of all the software and games that work and how well they work on the touch hd. I have lots of games on it now. I just looked at what worked and went google/pirate sites and got it. I cant post the cabs because it wouldn't be allowed.

Hi All,

I had tried downloading TCPMP but a warning pop out " Unexpected program failure. Please send crash. txt. to developer...."

Can anyone advise what is the correct way and best download site to download into my HTC Touch HD?

This was how I did it - but don't work:-

1. Download cab from WIKI and copy to my Storage card through PC-phone syn connection.

2. Activate and saved in my phone's storage card.

3. Soft reset.

4. Checked icon was in program folder

5. But when I click on it ...crash text warning pop up.

Pls help!!

I'm having issues getting some of the programs to work at all... such as the g-sensor/gyrator

but when trying to install the hotfix from the 1st post (not the one above on page2) i get the following message:

Incorrect Version

Please use the correct version to install this hotfix program

aha! sounds like you are trying to install from your PC's desktop? if so, it wont work, copy paste the hotfix into your mobile device and run it on there :)

if that isnt the case, then i guess you have a rom version that is higer than 1.14, in which case, you dont need the hot fix anyways :D

I am attempting to run the file from the device

My device details:

Rom Version: 1.14.405.3 (22273) WWE

Rom Date: 10/24/08

Radio Version: 1.09.25.14

Protocol Version: 52.49a.25.26U

I did try downloading and installing the ROM update but that failed too... (ran that on the pc)

I'm using Divx mobile player works well but the buttons are a bit small.

I can't really complain though as it's free.

for all those having video issues - please see this very useful xda-dev wiki section on video playback and download blackstone video encoder to convert video files on your pc to the optimum settings for playback on your HD. this works perfectly for me, with excellent results!

AmazeGPS is a free GPS Navigation Software, that works with most smartphone devices, including HTC Touch HD (just installed and tested it, it works fine).

Not as good as fx. Garmin og one of the other major commercial vendors, but hey - it's free!
