Guest saznpins Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 It's good news if they don't cripple the device and remove half the great features that the Omnia has... Verizon is famous for that <_< I am hopeful for you all that they will leave it intact though I will stick with my GSM model B)
Guest Lancez Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 From what I can see this phone doesnt look like a front camera which would make it a different design. Also if your going to get this phone because you want 3G speed you can just wait for someone to unlock the 3G bands on the other models. if the US version dose not have front camera, i believe it'll be identical as i908E which samsung is selling in china. if that is the case, i'd be happy to take the whole gang over some of the chinese website who have all the custom ROMs, including english ROMs from Hongkong. i've been following those chinese websites since i bought my i900 6 months ago and those guys are not bad at all. i hope ATT's version WILL be the same as the chinese version (the radio part will be diff though). then, we can go from there..... B)
Guest Turb0wned Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 ATT's "version" is a big rumor! Its been going on since july! Dont count on it coming out for at&t just concentrate on trying to get at&t's 3g on our current Omnia.

B) front end meaning same side as the battery right? In that case...it does have that. It honestly looks like the i900... except its a cdma phone. I dont know what the official differences are because I actually get the phone in hand tomorrow morning. Which Im VERY excited about. Will report after I play with it.... flash better work.... or skyfire whichever....

Thats fine, because i wont be using that feature anyway.
Guest somedude Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 Actually the phone is 199.99 if you buy it from verizons site. I ordered mines today and im selling the i900. I spent too much money on it anyway.
