Guest theidoctor.org Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 gotta figure out or research on net how to force phone into flash mode like u can with lg phones with button presses with power on then it might work question: Can we just call samsung or verizon and ask how to put it in flash mode? Its not like they are going to come and check on us or anything... its just information.... like with the iphone... you hold the main button with the power button and it goes into restore mode... im sure samsung has something like that
Guest pickthecrowdup Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 Why are there some of you who are being pricks to azintegra? He's trying to help us and putting his ass on the line doing so. If you don't want to try it then wait until someone does and reports if it works or not and keep your mouth shut. Why would he lie? Optimism goes a long way.

Guest StuNguN Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 To get the phone into hard boot mode you have to push and hold the two bottom keys of the Omnia then press the reset button with the stylus. Keep holding the buttons while the Omnia boots and choose to hard reset. Possible D/L mode prior to hard reset?
Guest blazingwolf Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 (edited) I tried the other dlls (Telus and Bell) and pst says that the file is dirty and stops. B) Edited April 7, 2009 by blazingwolf

Guest blazingwolf Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 So, is there a reg edit that can be done to force the phone in to modem through USB? Has anybody figured out bootloader mode? Didn't see someone come up with this in a Google search but it doesn't hurt to ask.
Guest avluis Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 IT'S GOING TO SAY THAT BECAUSE IT'S NOT TEH CORRECT DLL I JUST POSTED THEM BECAUSE U GUY KEEP SAYING THE DLL'S DONT WORK AND I THOUGHT MAYBE SOMEONE COULD FIGURE A BYPASS FOR TO USE THIS DLL Calm Down! Guest blazingwolf Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 Well, you tell me then. I didn't go and rename that file! And so far it means absolutely nothing. If your so worried about it stop messing around with the files.
Guest necosino Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 I think some people are just getting frustrated since we are used to having step-by-step instructions to make something work when others are having (some) success. I won't be home until tomorrow, but I have Windows 7, Vista, and XP. I'm going to focus on 7/Vista to see if I can't get it to work first, then if I don't have any success I'll move to XP. Then again, someone else may very well have gotten it to work before I even get to testing B) I would try doing the standard hard reset buttons after the phone goes to reset. DO NOT DISCONNECT THE PHONE FROM THE USB. When it turns off, hold to two front buttons like you normally would to do a hard reset. See if any other menus come up that way, or if anything different happens. Let me know!

I've put my phone on the line for you guys. I'm reporting what I found. Stop being a jerk. I was replying for the benfit of the members. What, I am supposed to ignore the fact there was a bogus download amongst these links?> Maybe I shouldn't stretch my neck out quite so far if thats the attitude I am going to get.
