Guest Are these my pants? Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 I am stuck at the beginning, cannot get the driver to install. I have done the "As the modem through USB" setting, but when I plug it in I cannot install the drivers. What drivers do I need?
Guest M Moogle Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 I'm in that menu, still getting a wait for device. I haven't gone ahead and actually done the flash yet, but I can get the UMDL_OMNIA_v2.3.exe program to detect the phone by following the instructions in the PDF: Disable Activesync's USB connection, launch the program, pick the img file, turn off the phone, plug in the USB cable, and turn the phone on. Mine turns onto a bootloader screen and from there I could flash the ROM if I wished.

Guest WoZZeR999 Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 (edited) Anyone with vista get the update to work? Am I going to have to install XP on another PC? Edit: Got it with Vista! In the activesync settings, there is a "Connections Settings" window that looks like an Vista version of the XP dialog Box. I got it from the Windows sync center menu. Guest avluis Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 Anyone with vista get the update to work? Am I going to have to install XP on another PC? I did this on windows 7 x64 so it better work on vista
Guest WoZZeR999 Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 (edited) I just had trouble finding the connection settings. Flashing now. If it has windows live built in, it may have some GPS function built into it. Edited April 8, 2009 by WoZZeR999
Guest avluis Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 (edited) also, there is a dialer touch delay of: Off, 2secs, 5secs or 10secs Also, it seems louder for a reason, maybe I'm going crazy. Edited April 8, 2009 by avluis
