everyone who is viewing this forum stop passing the ROM's i post around to other forums or I'm gonna stop posting anything. I'm risking my job posting all these files and none of u are doing anything to help. Ur making it worse they are all over the net now. and a few people i work with happen to visit these few forums where they have been posted. and the most

Sounds like a proper request, but wasn't that to be expected? I've seen multiple posts in HoFo about the big break. Can you break it down enought to only distribute via email? Then you can control who has access.

The damage is done. That rom is spreading across the internet like wildfire. Its out of your hands now. Hope you dont get in trouble!

I've not posted any links other than threads to here. I also have not posted who leaked it. The big problem is the people who decided to gloat and poke at Verizon on their own forums.

They can trace the money trail back to the paypal account I assume... May want to rethink that, only offer the account to those who contact you for donations.

Did you have to change the com port?

I changed the com port to 8 because i thought i had seen that posted on there somewhere else. I didnt find the current GPS option Until after changing it, so I dont know if it is required or not.

Usually when something goes viral like this, the corps know there's nothing they can do but try to be more stringent in the future. Samsung, IMO wouldn't care all that much. They made it for verizon, they (probably) felt it never should have been done in the first place, so they're probably sitting somewhere smiling :excl:

I found nonsense like this:

Can't plug the leak, it would be like unringing the bell...

Yeah i saw that person rubbing it in verizons face...They took down all his post now.

I actually liked the fact that he went over there and rubbed it in.

Its the ultimate "F*ck you" to verizon to go over to their message boards and brag about having the gps. And theres really nothing verizon can do, since they are about to release the rom in few weeks anyways.

Verizon knew what they did was wrong. If they were to persecute us, it would be like someone who just killed a person, but calls the police because someone else stole his wallet.

My replacement phone will arrive tomorrow because my currently one does not allow me to go to internet after flashing with new rom

When flashing the ROM, do I need to check the box "Phone Bootloader" and "Phone Initialization"?????

Yes, I did (5 times) but still no internet connection, it said wrong user name and password even those I type in the right one.

I did nothing of the such, nor would I have any reason to do so, hence the "fellow forum members!"

XD you know I was trolling.

I was just too happy that we finally got the gps working!!

One thing that I am noticing is that if I push a hard key when the phone is blanked will turn the phone back on. I even saw a setting that lets you decide how it should operate. I don't recall this being available before.

I'm having a problem finding where the setting is now though.

Except the RIAA and MPAA, then they just start suing everybody. That or they get the FBI out for silly things like Wolverine..

As I recall you checked things the first time you flashed correct?

Have you tried using the Verizon website to change to another phone and then back again?
