Problem with Outlook after WM6.1 upgrade

I have an odd problem with WM6.1

With the BJII running WM6.0 I used to press the email button when ever I received a new email, it took me to the top of my email list. I could scroll down to see other messages.

Now with the BJII running WM6.1 when I press the email button it takes me to the last read email. I have to scroll up to look for new email address. Is there a way to fix this back to the way it used to work?
