Cabbage worm that was eating my collard greens. He was moved off the plants to have his picture taken, and then cut in half. In person, I couldn't see any of the details that the photo managed to pick up, so I was pretty amazed.

One of my favorites taken at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Natural light, and it was pretty dark in there. Stock settings on the camera. Enjoy!

And if you updated your rom with some new one, have you tried to update the camera ?

go to your phone and then use this code: *#2470#

et voila your camera is updated and much better then before.

I take it that this is NOT for US Verizon phones. Do you know how we can update ours? Like my friend your responding to mentioned my photos NEVER look as crisp or clear as what I have seen posted here. i have gone to other boards to look for optimum settings as well - no luck. If you do know how to update the camer by all means share please :)

Photos from Omnia are indeed stunning. It looks lot better on PC then on Omnia screen.

There's should be a camera timer and a hole for mounting a tripod - lol

I think I may be doing something wrong because I really cant seem to get any decent clarity on any sort of moving subjects.

I tend to take a lot of pictures of my 2 year old son, which are pretty much spur of the moment shots. However, even though I have selected the sports mode the pictures are coming out too blurred to actually be of any use.

I have the handshake option on but the photos arent even viewable. Is there any other setting that might help, I think I've tried turning the focus setting off with no difference.

Also, is there a way of selecting it so that the camera is always set up for sports by default? It keeps coming up as SCN and I have to change it every time. Either that or try to get my lad to sit still :)

sports-mode or not, only a high-end DSLR can keep up with a 2-yr old :) . either settle for focused background with blurred in-motion kid, or try tracking [latch by pressing shutter half-way onto an object within same plane of focus, reposition onto moving subject, then track and complete shutter press].
