Guest missing2 Posted May 2, 2009 Report Posted May 2, 2009 name='brnlahaze' date='Apr 13 2009, 22:45' post='996223'] Settings --> Camera Page --> Effect --> Accent --> Green Where is this? I can't find that path? Is in when you are in Camera mode? while in camera mode push the settings button go to effects then swap.
Guest eddied Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 Very enjoyable and instructive thread, thanks to all. The very best photo I took was also the very first, when I didn't have a clue about settings or what I was doing.Just took it out of the box, pointed, and pressed the button. If I can work out how to attach will do (am surfing from my Omnia)cheers, eddied
Guest eddied Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 :D So here I am again, attaching my first 'point and shoot' photos cheers, eddied
Guest Backes Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 (edited) Heyho, these are my photos with the I900 Omnia. Taken in Germany in a area called "Sauerland". This is in the west of Germany and these photos were taken in winter 08/09. The last photo was shot at carneval. Cheers Backes Edited May 3, 2009 by Backes
Guest sunfire Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 Whats WDR in the camera setting? Can anyone advise on how to ensure the settings like contrast, sharpness and saturation do not go back to default after u exit camera function? this is getting very irritating as i need to reinput the setting every time i use the camera.
Guest eddied Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 Hi, WDR is Wide Dynamic Range. I understand the settings problem is the same for us all, and have not seen a solution anywhere. cheers, eddied

Guest Draconius Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 (edited) My day at the Zoo part 1 or 3. Both using Macro. The cloudyness in front is the glass of the enclosure. I wish I could have 3 focal points so I can set it either left, center, or right focus Edited May 18, 2009 by Draconius
Guest Draconius Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 Day at the zoo part 3. LOVE this one. Only 1 level of zoom, no post edit. Straight from camera. My fav from the zoo is between this one and the elephant.

Guest leland_jr Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 Can someone help me w/ a question on the camera -- is there an auto rotation sensor or setting for pictures?
Guest ikediggety Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 could have sworn i'd already posted some but they never showed up. so here we go again.
Guest Tim-H Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 Took these while i was working on them a couple months ago. I like how clear these pictures can be if you mess with the settings a little.
Guest sockfocks Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 I have found that when you take pics, its best to use the optical mouse button in low light. You press the button, release and hold very still. The camera will release the shutter after a short pause giving you time to hold the camera still. With the regular shutter button on the spine, when you do a full press I always seem to move it as the shutter snaps giving me blur. This technique also works in good lighting.
