download secany's release. it has the CSC file you have to flash. if needed, instructions are available in this very thread just a few pages back.

if you can't download from rapidshare, a dzhk1 csc download link is also available a few pages back.

sorry, i did not understand what you meant by "open the port".

i had the same problem after i flashed using xp with samsung drivers installed at the very end when it says usb to phone succesfull after this it says failed to detect port and tries to connect with a list of ports but i just unpluged and take the battrey out of the unit and restart the device then all is well rom is working fine hope this helps anyone else having this problem.

Congratulations on a very efficient and trimmed-down ROM. Everything works as it should! I suggest that users who want this or that or the other, should look through the forums for other cooked ROMs. This is the best naked ROM, and it should stay this way. Please note: I have used all of the ROMs offered in these forums; some were good, others not so good and some really bad. No other ROM has given me the freedom to do what I want with my phone. Keep up the good work, lufeig.

i have problem with connection :

When i go to create WAP setting i can enter all my settings but at the end all disappear like this:

I created 10 times , i tried to soft-reset..to hard-reset but nothing to do ..This thing happen with another cooked HL2 ROM, just with TARIL ROM connection go..

I really want to use this Light ROM is there a solution for this connection problem?

I was wondering if you used the network wizard from XDA Developers. for people to use to setup the phone internet connection and sms and mms. ?

I use it always and it has one down side and that it takes away the main menu shortcut on the front screen and makes then phone and contact.

Your rom is great, small, fast and stable. Anyway I found one problem which I can't solve. I already searched this forum but haven't found anything like this. So here it is:

I set-up my WiFi connection, connect to the network with no problems.

When I try to download my e-mails or see any internet site with Opera it shows me there's no internet connection. On the other hand when I tried to update Resco Explorer I can see the program is checking updates and I'm even able to download something and install it so the internet connection must be ok! Where's the mistake or maybe I missed something (configuration or some settings)?

I'll appreciate any help...

you can try stock DXHL2 released by secany and check if the problem continues.

hi Lufeig, i absolutly install Opera on DEVICE memory,but dont want to go.strange...At the end IE goes and i MiniOpera too.but not opera,some suggestion? for the appli "favorites settings" do you have an answer ?

I dont understand why you have problems.. I even installed Opera on My Storage and it works great with FLite3.1.

Also with FavouriteSettings. Everything works great on this rom.

ported xip from a diamond ce os 5.2.20954. working flawlessly... i've heard it's the most stable until now.

This ROM doesn't read chinese, you may have to install the chinese font.

Hey guys, is there a cab file for a pdf capable file viewer? It can be Bora, or whatever shipped with the Omnia OR Picsel or any freeware version - not fussy, but pdf's are so important... :rolleyes:

You ARE the ROM master chef (for me). I'm telling you that I was figuring out how to work the kitchen, and I had started deleting almost everything and then I saw your thread and tried out your first attempt - 70 Megs free at first boot. Well, I thought he's not as thread bare as I'm aiming for. So I went about putting together my ROM, and before I could finish it, I noticed that I didn't have the latest file and I tried your first BARE BONES version. The BOMB.

Now you have honed your art, maestro. This is gorgeous. I love that you've left the picture and video viewer because i always have to install some larger version of a thumbnail viewer. This one operates fast and simply. I like the HTC style one, but this one is still a slimmer version. TIGHT.

You've also become more elegant - I'm sure you know this. Stripping out the CAB files, and being very particular in how you deliver - cabs if the RAR doesn't save so much space, otherwise high compression RAR files. Being complete in delivering the files - offering both versions of Opera as well as explaining and providing the two versions of Flash Lite for widgets or Opera. Really enjoying your development, lufeig.
