i don't use chinese sip, so sorry, i can't help you. i think this file worked out for the other user, because he asked for the file and made no complaints until now.

if it does not work for you, you should try the csc file provided by secany. it's supposed to work, but i never tried these myself.

lufeig, for a junior ROM cooker, you are quite good bad, my friend.... Thanks, I have managed to say that yet..

Anyway, I found a internet sharing cab that works from XDA and there is one Chinese site, right here in Modaco, just leave the cooks to the cooking. Go find your own pepper and salt..

Using this rom, everything's good so far, except the battery draining like crazy (-50% after an hour of S2P & 5 minutes of GPS-I think I went wrong somewhere).

Thanks for the ICS cab. I've been looking for it.

i said next release would be DXHL2... i am a man on my word, but sorry, but i couldn't keep it.

first post updated with LFI03 revision c. if you don't need internet sharing, no need to update though:

- internet sharing is back

- DXHL1 radio

secany affirmed he will release DXHL2 before x-mas, so if you aren't a flash-a-holic, a clean DXHL2 will be released in a few days.

Like your style Lufeig!!

ROM still amazing, feels so quick. You have made a very good ROM. The question is how quick you can play with HL2 and make some magic happen. He says you get ROM before xmas, you should be done for new year??

hope so, I wait in anticipation for your next ROM. Few ROMs bout to drop on this HL2 platform, so flash-a-holics annonymus hotline will be off the hook!!

Nobody wants a brick for xmas. We want your ROMs! :)

Thanks again and keep impressing me.

I dont know why people are having battery problems i think its pretty good. I was at the gym with the music playing for 2 hours. Talked for about 15 mins total during that time and used the internet for about 20 mins and when i got home only 1 of the battery bars were gone.

Yes this is a good rom, I find the battery life is great. I play music all day at work or the radio and it only drops to about 80%. Thats with about 5 mins of calls and a video call of about 5 mins too.

Great job! Thank you!

My notes: this version is so "naked". I miss Smart Reader and cannot find appropriate cab anywhere.

I also suspect that all the samsung applications are updated in newer versions, some cabs available in the internet are just outdated.

Could you also prepare light version (no office, no widgets, but rest left alone) from time to time (I still use your first editon of DXHK3 ROM) besides "totally clean"?

I've read some manuals -- it seems it's just a question of leaving some things in ROM image instead of stripping all of them.

Alternatively if you could provide me some links to some tutorials - I could strip official full blown ROMs myself

hi everyone! first id like to say thank you to LuFeIg for this great lite rom =D.

i have flashed this rom and now my version says:

pda : i900DXHK3/LFI03

phone : i900DXHJ1

previously i had updated through the samsung website with dxhj1/dzhj1 (the current one still on their site for singapore)

now my problem is that when i was flashing it couldnt find port during the usb to phone.

i have installed the proper drivers but still have this problem.

now my phone works fine but im wondering if i should just go with it and have the small cellphone icon with a yellow triangle when i restart the phone

or

if i should try "Paul's complete guide to upgrading your Omnia to HH1, and what to do when things go wrong!" and downgrade to it and follow the steps then re flash to your rom.

my only concern for the second option is if i update to hh1 is it even gonna let me flash your rom? how would i be able to keep dxhj1 on my phone instead of hh1?

sorry for the long post im just scared noobie =/

thank you

this problem started to happen with me too, the exact same "phone with yellow triangle" icon appears to me because i can't flash the phone part.

i installed a fresh new windows xp in a second hard disk. whenever i have to flash my omnia, i startup this second hd and everything works fine.

i don't know why this happens, maybe it's because there is too many stuff installed in this here, and my parents have their windows id's to, so i don't know exactly what they have installed too.

When the flasher program changes to PHONE mode, it gives around 20 seconds to the system, to recognize the Samsung Phone driver, but if you have too many things installed on your box, it may take more time. (My box usually recognizes the driver around the 4 sec remaining line, but sometimes it gets past this, and then I get no phone driver, so I have to reflash)

Thats a common first time flasher problem, which i got aswell.

Make sure you have installed the Samsung Modem Drivers, and then before you flash connect you phone to the pc.

At first connect in Phone Mode (ActiveSync) and then disconnect and change to USB mode and reconnect.

I think one of them triggers the modem drivers to initialise on your system.

Then you'll be good to start flashing. If the modem drivers dont show up, then you simple have to flash, wait for it to fail at the Port creation stage. If you have a slightly slow computer then it takes windows a while to setup the drivers and the flasher wont give it enough time. Although the flasher fail, windows carrys on with the driver setup, and the next time you flash, it will pick up the drivers straight away and flash your phone.

lufeig, I was on your rom for a few days, and it was very stable. You have done an awesome job. I had actually started learning to cook but a few hours in, i saw ur rom. You've got it pretty much spot on.

Unfortunately I traded ur rom in for a M2D rom which i'm liking very much.

However i'm waiting for you HL2 Rom which hopefully will strip out all the junk so i can manually installed M2D without some of the M2D junk lol.

If you get the chance, could you please put up cabs of application next to names of items removed.

E.g. On post 1, on the removed list, just add links to cabs for all the apps.

Saves alot of reading and soon enough this thread will have alot of pages.

I know you want to create the cabs and put the up, but are low on time, but it would be nice if you could puts link to already existing cabs untill you've packaged them yourself.

A massive congratulation from me for cooking a superb dish

Keep up the good work.

I did the opposite...went from M2D rom to this and manually installed M2D.

Cant fault the ROM, it's super stable and battery life is awesome. 3rd day in (all be it weekend - make less calls etc), but still at a third left.

I second the cabs thing, everything you strip out should be available in your posts, so we have correct version for corect ROM. I have lots of cabs from ROMS, most work with every ROM, but i am no specialist but i would assume that different ROMs & cabs have slightly different make up and are not directly compatible with each other.

Good looking ROM for first crack at it (what we on now version... :) ).

I definitely coming back for seconds...see you then Lufeig.

i still cant get past "usb to phone" it tries the ports and just fails.

i have the proper drivers installed "samsungmodem_xp" then open the folder and double click on "setup.exe"

"c:program files\samsung\samsung cdma modem"

but i noticed that now when it starts up the default timezone is for singapore and not london

Guys, all this triangle comes up because of 1 thing which you guys didn't notice. I use to have this problem when i try to install lte02. After numerous attempts which i always fail, i finally realise that there is actually one box in sync icon that we didnt click on. Go to active sync icon, there you will see COMS3, you need to click on it and miracle will happen. Before doing this, my phone always stops at port 3 and fails to open my phone which why i always get the error message saying it cant be completed. After i click on COMS3, the rest of the downloads like magic. Give it a try, as now my phone really works like hell to the max that i like the lte02 custom rom so much that i forgot who is the guy who cook this rom to make it work. Have fun
