Guest qbus Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 The Omnia is not correct name....corect name is ¨ -Omnia easy phone to crash- ¨ .Why they sell phones which you can destroy in 1 secound. Thank you SAMSUNG Just blame yourself - flashing ROM is not normal-use-operation.

Flashing firmware is not ment for inexperienced users even if you can get a firmware update on Samsung's official website. It's only for people who know what they are doing or for people that want to take a risk. The only risk free option is to take you phone to a service center for upgrade. And that goes for all phones, mp3's,...devices that you flash. So please don't blame samsung for something you did on your own free will. And please don't start a blame topic we see enough of them as it is. Edited December 30, 2008 by bpivk

I encountered same problem when I first tried rom flashing.. If u have any anti-virus program background on ur Pc or Firewall probgrams running on ur PC. pls stop them all and ur PC OS must NOT Vista. Try again to flash ur Rom again  Good luck. Guest daicacon Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 Try this, make sure usb driver is installed on windows xp. This is i900DXHJ1 ROM, all the needed files are inside this .rar file http://rapidshare.com/files/178358714/i900...randPrix164.rar 1. Turn off phone 2. run GrandPrix 3. Load "loader" with eboot.nb0, "pda" with pda.bin, "SCS" with customer.csc, "Phone" with phone.bin 4. Connect phone, turn on 5. Click on Detect button and wait... You should see the green bars running on bootup screen with samsung logo. GrandPrix will tell you when it's done. Hopefully this helps
