2. type your MCC/MNC code (list here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_Network_Code), e.g.26003 for Polish ORANGE

3. type your new NCK (12345678), then OK

3. type *#7465625 to check your lock

4. type #7465625*638*# and type your NCK (12345678)

5. enjoy.

from Polish pda site (http://pdaclub.pl/forum/index.php?topic=120622.0) for samsung i780, but it works also on my Omnia (DXHL2_LFI04a).

If you have a problem (like "Fail to Set Locking status"), change the ROM on the other (for example, as in my message, do not forget to backup), then work, then go back to the old ROM.

Hi,

I am in Canada and tried using this method to unlock.

The MCC/MNC advised me I have the wrong code.

The device is locked to bell mobility, I used all code listed, could not use hash and was denied.

Any suggestions

Hey ive followed these instructions on a vodafone UK omnia and it works fine, only tested on a t-mobile UK sim

Just wondering, will the phone still be unlocked after a hard reset or would i have to do it again?

to unlock the omnia with IMSI Not Active you must have a working card inside meaning a card of the network of that phone is locked

that is the only way you can get it

so you must get a working card that happens to me until i get a working card i cant unlock it

when i put working card in less then one minute phone unlock

I had an unlocked omnia with SFR !!!!

First it didnt worked for me with i900XHHG6 firmware version , so I downgraded my phone with the i900XHHJ2 version ,

then I folowed the step :

1. type *7465625*638*#

2. for the Mcc/Mnc type : 208101 (20810) is the code of sfr

3. for the Nck type : 12345678 , then OK

4. type #7465625*638*# and type your NCK (12345678)

The phone was unlocked succefuly !!! then I upgraded to the i900XHHG6 version , my phone worked like a charm !!!

Though I am very late in appreciating this effort, yet it works. I locked my omnia last night when I flashed it with a new radio. This handy info helped me.

Can anyone help me please ?

I got a Samsung Omnia 2 with WM 6.5 (original Rom I8000XXIJ3) ?

Everytime I try to unlock my phone and enter my MCC/MNC(for Austria 23201) and the NCK and click OK there shows up an error message which says

"You entered Incorrect Password or MCC/MNC" . Even when I add the sixth digit from my IMSI it doesn't work and shows the same error message.

What shall I do ????? ;) ;) ;)

i'm not so successful with the unlock. i type the code on the phone key pad and press send to get the unlock code. but it just tries to make a call what am i missing?

and the call is picked up with a unknown number message.

iv just bought a omnia of e-bay...cracking phone BUT its locked too orange and im on O2 iv tried the mcc/mnc code and it still says fail to set locking status (iv put the correct code in for orange u.k 23433 but still the same iv even gone out and bought a new orange sim card too see if that made any difference still the same ;)
