Guest qbus Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 Hey qbus, tried the new rom, looks quite decent now, but if i press the end call button, phone lock wont activate.. That's becouse it is set to disable GPRS connection by default. Settings -> System -> Buttons ->End key and change option to Lock device.
Guest mirazzz Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 Hi. Could You provide me (and for others too) settings for small fonts in the menus and taskbar? (mówiąc normalnie chciałbym mieć taką małą czcionkę, jak w Twojej pierwszej wersji ROMu). What values should I insert in this registry key: [HKLM\System\GWE\Menu\PopFnt] Ht=1100 Wt=800

Guest Billou Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 (edited) Try this (I suggest doing backup before you do that): Unpack the content of the attachment to \Windows directory except registry.rgu file. Then registry.rgu to registry and do soft-reset. If this will not work then probably it is not possible to install new HTC Task Manager 2.1 separetly without cooking it into ROM (like Adobe Flash 3.1). Can you post it your HTC Task Manager in cab ? Thanks Edit : I find it :) ( http://rapidshare.com/files/142953559/HIMA...anager.rar.html http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...0498&page=3 Edited January 14, 2009 by Billou

Guest twentyone Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 qbus or anyone, do you know how can i backup the People page in manilla ? The one with the photos of the people that I can click to dial ? Now if I delete my contacts and then re-add them the shortcuts are already gone, and I am testing something that requires a lot of deletion/adding of contacts... thank you all in advance ?

Guest Dominic83 Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 Ht=880 Wt=640 after a soft reset, the values changes back to the original...:)

Guest geobart Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 Hi Qbus, did you keep the ASplayer from original rom on your cooked rom ? Thx :)

Guest qbus Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 Hi Qbus, did you keep the ASplayer from original rom on your cooked rom ? Thx :) Nope :D This is not essential application.
Guest qbus Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 (edited) The Link for the ROM is down?? Yeah - something is wrong with Mediafire, all my files dissapeared from the account and I can't upload it again (it says that the site is under maintainance). But Rapidshare is still working. Guest akiden Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 Hi qbus, I'm loving your rom every min. Can you include the on/off option for Beam into the Comms Manager? This was made possible in PaSSoA's M2D rom. That will be a very useful shortcut. Cheers! :)
Guest kelvin84 Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 Another other website to download becoz i can't use Rapidshare :)

Guest Dominic83 Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 You had to not save them correctly. mh i used total commander like every times i had to change the registry. open the values put in the new one, press ok, then i closed total commander and reopend it to have a look, that the values are changed and everything is ok. But after the softreset i have the old ones...
Guest akiden Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 Why do you want to have beam on/off in Comms Manager? hahahaa :) That'a a gd qn! From my experience, Beam has to be ON in order to rec/send BT files. In order to conserve batt, I turn Beam OFF most of the time until I need to transmit BT signal. It's basically 1 of the 101 ways to conserve batt life. heee :D

Guest trafo Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 Hi! Applications which are use: - S2U2, S2P and S2V as locking, music player and image viewer (they are fast, small and have everything what is needed to lock, play and view files) - Windows Media Player for movies (but I don't watch too much movies on my Omnia) - Resco Explorer as File Manager /non-free/ - FdcSoft TaskManager - FoxIt Reader - G-Alarm (the best software in my opinion) - Modaco NoData for disabling GPRS connection - psShutXp for closing and resetting Omnia - SpbBackup for backups /non-free/ - SpbWallet for holding security codes /non-free/ - SpbPocket Plus for battery indicator and extended save/open dialog box That's it - these applications are always present on my Omnia. Other ones I install from time to time but the list above is my must-have apps. Hi, do you use any automatic profile changer?
