Guest bluey09 Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Hi, Does this custom ROM have streaming player ??? DXIA3/QB03 Thanks
Guest Barthlon Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Please read the first post. The main thing is I used DXIA2 as base for QB03. It has some bugfixes (especially big Volume Control is working correctly now) and gives you more free space after installation. man, i hope you did go to bed last night! fast work! :)
Guest qbus Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 man, i hope you did go to bed last night! fast work! :) Sure, I'm sick and staying at home for whole week and have lots of time to cook :D.

Guest qbus Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Is it possible to uninstall FlashLite 3.1 and install 2.1 or is it fully integrated in your ROM? Yes, someone noticed that to do that you just install FlashLite 2 CAB (which can be find somewhere on this forum) and it starts to work.

Guest I900-Nutzer Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Hmm - latest Release removed from the DL-Server - why? Any Problems?
Guest qbus Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 (edited) Hmm - latest Release removed from the DL-Server - why? Any Problems? Yes, I've updated Manila but there were problems with new version (weather tab). Reverting back to old Manila. The ROM will be available in 10 minutes. EDIT: Updated first post with proper version. You need to download this version only if you are unable to update weather. Otherwise there's no need to do that. Edited January 22, 2009 by qbus
Guest bigmaras Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Qbus, what is version of manilla 2d in your last ROM, 21?
Guest qbus Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Qbus, what is version of manilla 2d in your last ROM, 21? Mixed -> 1818.3719 with 1821.1624 Nice fonts + no bug with not opening some windows for first time.
Guest mirazzz Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 (edited) Hi. I just flashed my phone with your DXIA2-QB03M custom ROM (Manilla). And I have an issue. When I tap Volume Control icon on the taskbar it opens standard WM controls, not the big, round Samsung volume control. But when I tap this empty space between VolumeControl icon and Phone icon it opens Samsung vol ctrl. I didn't do any hard reset before and after flashing (EDIT: I just did a HR - still the same). But everything else works OK (have some five, six apps installed). Here is a good illustration of a problem :) Nice work :D Edited January 22, 2009 by mirazzz

But I prefer to have this issue over small and not finger friendly standard volume control (you can start volume control using volume buttons on the right instead of touching icon).
Guest abu123 Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 I installed the clean version. ...which is fast and furious...thanks Qbus The bug with the volume is only reproduced for me when manilla is active and focus prior to taping the volume button. So may be linked to M2D rather than samsung???

EDIT: The best solution would be to leave big volume control binded only to hardware keys but it's rather not possible to do by me or any other cooker. I will take a look at that in a free time :) . EDIT2: Found a solution! :) New flashing is coming hehe. Edited January 22, 2009 by qbus

For proper upgrade you can only restore your contact book and mails/smses. Applications should be reinstalled again. This rule applies not only to my ROMs but to all available ones (even vanillas).
Guest nicodega Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 Hi, I've just installed the latest clean version and what can I say... flawless :) I really love this ROM!! I've installed Manilla myself from the All-in-one cab and it works like a charm. The only thing I've noticed is that if I check the "Vibrate" option for SMSs, it does not vibrate, nor does it produce any sound :D

Hi, thank you for this good Rom and your answers. man wants always last rom :-) But I really setup heavily programs (about 90 programs :-) & cache settings & menu & theme settings) is there any my loses, with QB02a, what are them? Because I have a hybrid Rom now :-) DXIA2 part is OK, some bugs fixed I think. I havent got QB03 now. What is good? should 90 applications be reinstalled again? or QB03 differences not important, can I go my way with my hybrid rom. What is Your opinion ? Your advice is important for me. thanks a lot.
