Repeating reminders/text etc

On my last cooked SPV C600 when you received a text message the phone continually repeated the vibration and sound until you viewed the text message or reminder.

With my new Samsung i200 this does not happen. You get the initial beep and vibrate then nothing else. You have to either be a) near the phone when it tells you or :) check the homescreen for any missed texts etc

How can I turn on repeating reminders, text alerts etc?

You can set reminders to repeat but I've not heard of repeating a text message alert.

Text message alaerts are handled differently to other alerts which is why most people will only use short alert tones as long tones have to played through to the end and can not be stopped halfway unlike reminders and calls etc.
