Custom i900 ROM DXID1/Vie12. exROM update only (24-May-2009)

Hi Master,

can enlighten on how this rom switch between M2D and SPB mobile shell? is it M2D running in the background or mobile shell running in the background.

How about the storage and ram master?

Just installed it and seems you can choose for yourself what you want. You can easily switch between Today, M2D an SPB3.

It's really great, in M2d is only one flaw. The behind an icon which look like system the screen is blank / empty. I just removed it and put something else in place.

edit: After fooling around a little and trying everything in this rom and switching between M2D, SPB and Today screens a few times I loose the top line.

This is the line with the Winmo log, start button etc. After soft reset they are back, have to see how it will hold afetr a few days of use.

Hello, thanks for this brilliant invention of self-creation of the ROM!

I've installed the Vie11 initially with M2D ("M"), but later decided to change this to clean ("C") and to remove some additional soft.

I've modified again the Vie11.ini and made a hardware reset.

Unfortunately the auto installer has never started up and the firmware remained VERY clean, even without the original dialer.

How can I renew the installation process? Shall I reflash it again from the beginning?

That's nice to choose any programs i want on vie11.ini , event after hard rest.

The keyboard is taking more than 3 seconds to show up, does it do the same for you guys?

The ROM is fine but it doe's have some responsibility problems, same here Hoederx

About the programs think it was better before like Vie09 rom I used before this one, and I added the other programs by my self I need, but the M2D worked better when it was implemented directly into the ROM.

But still it's good work so I like to say also thank you :D

Thanks for the answer :D Now i would like to know how i can pass the Greek Language IN KEYBOARD [and the original samsung keyboard] because i have tried with this way....... [So this going to do :

1 ) From Registry with some Registry Editor like [Resco Registry] go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\XT9] and delete all files.

Back up for your reasons the XT9 folder!!!

2 ) Copy my XT9_v1.0.reg file to your mobile and run it. Then select yes for insert this file to your system registry. Go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\XT9] again and see if all registry it’s like as before.

3 ) Restart your OMNIA and all done] ............. many times but the omnia does not respod again and again and i need hard format every time

I have installed M version initially.

Then I was trying to restart auto installation process (without a success), so I made couple of hardware resets. After one of them and the process described above the standard dialer came back.

But you right, it is too complicated. I consider moving to QBUS07 rom, since the author of this one has probably left the forum...
