First off I'd just like to say thanks to Sector for making this rom. WM 6.5 is a million times better than 6.1. It actually makes 6.1 look 5 years old. I was getting fed up with my phone for not being finger friendly (even with SPB Shell) but this has given it a fresh breath of life.

Firstly a couple of problems I have found with the rom.

I cannot get titanium colours to work. I installed them, restarted but I can't find them anywhere. It then won't let me remove them from the programs. I am probably doing something wrong.

Predictive text does not always appear when using the samsung keyboard. i.e the list of words that appear when typing doesn't show up. A reset sorts this out, or if I leave it, it randomly comes back.

When using the default dialler, the list of names is too small. It will show from bottom up - number pad - around 3 names - black space - task bar. I think the black space (there's a lot of it) could be used to show more names.

I also think that the next rom shouldn't have the honeycomb.

There seems to a lot of apps & menu's from 6.1 which aren't finger friendly. Clock, calendar, etc. I would like these to be updated but I get a feeling we'll be left with them till WM7.

This is a biggy for me. The new program's page is miles better but there is no order to it. If I install a app now called 'apple' for example then it will appear at the bottom of the page, where as it should be alphabeticaly or something. What is needed though are different pages for different apps. eg, I press start, the first page shows WM settings, slide left it shows games, slide again navigation software, again internet programs, etc. I hope they could come out with something like this for the final release, or someone someone makes something similar.

It is a little slow sometimes but it is still beta.

I hope they release the final version soon so I can flash it with that (I'm not one for keep flashing my phone) then I'll send a few £'s your way for all the hard work.

I just tried reinstalling, but the same thing is happening. Once flashed it boots to a windows splash screen and then reboots again. Then it boots to the screen that says touch to confugure, but then after about a minute it reboots again. Then its the splash screen then reboot and then touch to configure. Its like a big cycle, keeps going. Its driving me inane.

"IT is nescascary to restart the device to complete the installation" thats what it says, but it keeps doing it over and over again.

mine did this 3 times the first time I flashed it. Then it worked fine. The second time I flashed it, it loaded up first time

Sometimes the phone doesn't make a noise when calls, text come through (I'm checking all my settings now for this one).

thanks but it didn't work

I went to start - settings - today - unitck windows default

file explorer - my storage - TitaniumColours 6.5 - Chrome_ClassicBlue.cab

Installed to my storage

got some warning about it all ready being installed then hit restart when prompted

Back to my today settings and ticked windows default

One thing I really miss from Spb Shell is the soft reset program, so if anyone wants it you can get it from Here (it's very handy when you don't have your pen with you (I lost mine the other day :D ))

Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible to make this rom compatible to use with UMDL_OMNIA_v2.3 or the Unified Total Downloader instead of the older version that is currently being used? I may be wrong but it looks like it may work if your file was a .img instead of a .exe, This is the way they Flash for the Newest samsung rom for the update.

Also if it can be ported will this make it possible to DownLoad to a Verizon i910 or is this rom simply incompatible with my phone?

Hi Sector...big problem here.

My phone shut down due to lack of battery and now it seems that the computer cable cannot charge it.

Unfortunately i don't have the normal charger anymore and i always used the pc cable to charge (or the car-charger). The phone doesn't even boot.

Anything I can do to fix this quickly?

I am trying to change my home page using ChomeConfig 1.5

I have managed to remove / change name / add new panels, but what i want to do is set it so when I click on music it opens pocketplayer and when I click on clock it opens up the samsung clock.

I have read an how to guide somewhere in this topic a couple of days ago but now I can not find it.

Please can someone tell me what values need to be changed, or post a link with how-to directions.

you only can do that on some of them :D

ATfavePeopple :lol: for example.

try to create a new key from registry named CondensedPage and inside the new key a new StringValue called PlugginLabel. inside this one put a name that you want. remember this doesn`t work on all of them.

Hi... for anyone who is having the same poblem I have been able to charge te phone with the car charger and once it is on it can detect the pc cable without problems.

you need to sync titanium weather first :D

ya.....that happens with me too. i think this is one of a few bugs titanium have.

nothing that you can`t solve creating you own Program panel.

Hi all, two days ago i connected my Omnia to my XP pc where i usually flash it, this time was with the Sector last 6.5 rom.

Well, i launch the rom exe and the soft reset i need to flash it.

Then the phone boots and i see the black Omnia boot screen.

I just check the rom interface waiting for pushing the "start" button, just as usual.

Well, the exe doesn't detect the reboot...actually it doesn't detect the phone anymore!

Now it's been two days and if i boot my Omnia i just see that frozen black boot screen, windows doesn't start.

That's weird because i really didn't launch the flash procedure!

It doesn't seem bricked because i don't see the red led on.

Any suggestion? :D

if you don`t even see omnia logo i think it`s bricked :lol:

even so uninstall samsung driver & reinstall it again and see what happens

Ok, If it no logo, do U see Red led on power button? If so, plug charger in to the phone and live it for 2-3 days (sometimes it's really helps) if it's doesn't help go to the service center.

If U see logo, don't worry. Just install modem driver and flash it one more time (use GrandPrix, press reset button and hold, then plug cable, press detect on GrandPrix than let go reset) Flashing should start
