I disagree that ftouchsl just disables the native scrolling. It doesn't do anything other than slow the system down. at least that is wat happens for sector's rom.

as I have mentioned in an earliest post, when ftouchsl is installed on khuanchai's rom, an option to "disable native scrolling" appears but this option is not available on sector's rom.

if you don`t even see omnia logo i think it`s bricked

even so uninstall samsung driver & reinstall it again and see what happens

Ok, If it no logo, do U see Red led on power button? If so, plug charger in to the phone and live it for 2-3 days (sometimes it's really helps) if it's doesn't help go to the service center.

If U see logo, don't worry. Just install modem driver and flash it one more time (use GrandPrix, press reset button and hold, then plug cable, press detect on GrandPrix than let go reset) Flashing should start

I see the black "Omnia" screen, but just that, Windows doesn't start.

The phone stands frozen on the Omnia logo until the battery is completely over.

I see the red led just only when i push the power button, it turns off immediately (the led, not the phone), that's why i say it's not bricked.

I've tried with Grand Prix for XP too, it doesn't detect the phone.

I've tried on two laptops with modem drivers already installed, i've flashed many times without issues. :D

But there isnt an option for disable native scrolling. Hope you understand the problem that i face =( i am not doubting the great work that you do sector, just that i find the system to be very slow after tt. please see my screen capture and the option that is above the enable kinetic scrolling.

you have to set it to YES on top of it.

There is YES and NO. if i understood correctly.

==========

Updates: 21215 is out and it seems that is closer to the original release. I hope it will be a good release

No, there isnt even the category "Disable native scrolling". Look at the options under Scrolling, yours has only 'enable kinetic scrolling' but no 'disable native scrolling'

you have to set it to YES on top of it.

There is YES and NO. if i understood correctly.

dun think it is the version of ftouchflo. am using 2.10. tried it on both yrs and khuanchai. that is why i am wondering what is the difference between both your roms that cause the discrepancy

other than that difference, when activating cwelcomecenter on khuanchai's rom, it will always be called 'getting started' even though registry is changed to programs. when i search for getting started in registry, i cannot find any.

so so mysterious and puzzling

which version are u using?

even if there is not i dont get the native scrolling. my version 2.10

the red light doesn`t mean anything. I´ve bricked my omnia with logo, red light and green light when the charge is over, so....

you`ve bricked your`s

but i was luckier than you bacause i was able to flash an original rom and activate the garanty :( but i don`t think you have that luck :D

if i enable ftouchSL i cant scrol in start menu or titanuim any ideas using version 2.10

yupz thats right cuz ftouchflo when enabled conflicts with the wm6.5 scrolling. that is why the installing of ftouchflo is for the sole purpose of disabling the native samsung scrolling by enabling ftouchflo once to activate the 'disable native scrolling' option and then disabling ftouchflo.

however, the option to do so is not present on sector's rom which is rather puzzling. it also makes the touch screen less responsive.

i have tried it on khuanchai's rom and it not only disables the native scrolling but is as responsive as it originally was even with touchresponse installed as well.

I tried using FTouchsl and have the same issues as well. There was no disable native scrolling feature so I just went ahead and uninstalled it. BTW I was using v 2.10 with your ROMS as always Sector.

Hi all, two days ago i connected my Omnia to my XP pc where i usually flash it, this time was with the Sector last 6.5 rom.

Well, i launch the rom exe and the soft reset i need to flash it.

Then the phone boots and i see the black Omnia boot screen.

I just check the rom interface waiting for pushing the "start" button, just as usual.

Well, the exe doesn't detect the reboot...actually it doesn't detect the phone anymore!

Now it's been two days and if i boot my Omnia i just see that frozen black boot screen, windows doesn't start.

That's weird because i really didn't launch the flash procedure!

It doesn't seem bricked because i don't see the red led on.

Any suggestion? :D

Just yesterday I have the same problem, then I start flashing it freeze on Omnia logo screen. I was flashing on Vista. So What I did, I cut exe file with executer and copy all of them on Pc with XP. Them I'm start flashing part by part. 1) boot, after i did close the GP 2) flash Pda and СSC (after this devise start load windows) Remember: Till U have Logo that mean it's ok, try to flash only PDA part. U sad it's doesn't see the phone. Like I sad, put in GP only PDA part then on device hold reset, plug cable than press DETECT on GP? then let go reset on device. Should run flashing

I have used v2.10 on all the previous 3-4 Sector's ROM and it works more than fine, it's excellent. I am on 21210 at the moment. Here's my settings.

Notice that it is not even running! But I don't have native scrolling anymore
