Sorry keep you waiting for a long time. We are quite ready for the new ROM build 21176. I will upload it very soon.

Plan to make the new ROM will be different from us. I will make only the M2D (with 3 today GUI's) ROM similar to the previous one. Sector will come with the classic Samsung interface or anything else.

Good news!, with liads' and stevenh's BT fixed, I have already got the new ROM with BT fixed and no wakeup bug.

ROM spec:

- Build 21176

- 3 today GUIs: default=Titanium, second=normal WM6.1 today, third=TouchFlo2D

- Opera

- BT routing fixed and no wakeup bug

- Multi-language support

i have few questions,

- how can i replace the Dialer in this ROM to the original Omnia Dialer?

- how do i use the "Lock device when is woken up". i goto Start>Settings>Personal>Buttons>Wake up, then checked the When device is woken up, lock device. but when press the front buttons or when i get an incoming call, it just on, there suppose to have the unlock button to unlock. please help.

i don't want it is woken up by a phone call or sms while it's in my pocket, then it goes crazy cause the screen is not lock. please help

everything else seem fast & stable.

On the Pdaviet v20b the scroll bars are black and the pop ups are more rounded.

I thought that was part of the 6.5 xip/sys how do I get this to behave the same ?

- To use Samsung dialer, go to Favorite hackings > Dialer skin > Yes. (Samsung dialer will use about 4 MB of program memory.)

- I haven't tested the lock when wakeup. I think this is still not working. Maybe stevenh could help. B)

here I'll post few comments about few applications on the new ROM build 21176 WM 6.5:

1. VoIP - the build in WM 6.5 VoIP support with SIP protocol is working JUST PERFECT.

I'm using a utiliti to setup my VoIP account available here: WM6VoIPFull.cab

QBUS, Sector and Khuanchai is it possible to include this VoIP configuration tool in your next ROM versions - the VoIP functionalitty in WM 6.x is working really very good and for my NOMAD way of life is very usefull

2.Opera version 15746 - it's not the latest version, I can't find the zoom function on it :(

I upgraded to the latest (as I know) version 15954 (available here) and the new zoom feature on the bottom left is working OK.

3. GPS navigation is working OK: iGO version 8.3.2.71348

4. WiFi and Bluetooth are OK

5. Device lock / unlock isn't working well (using the close button)

6. After instalation of a few other tools: Resco explorer / today plugin / ftp and registry and after spb wireless monitor my WM 6.5 stopped working - made 4 / 5 restarts but after reboot it freezes on the today screen (traing to load spb wireless today plugin ...) and I reflashed it B) ... ... reflash #1

7. I think that I found the problem - it's the Device Lock function. If you try it you will brocke your WM 6.5 instalation :( and you have to reflash it ...

You can test it using End Key / CLOSE buton - on the front bottom right - the End key with Lock device function activated.

After a reflash, when I Lock my phone pressing the End Key / CLOSE buton for 4-5 seconds, my Omnia just stopped working OK ...,

1-2 restarts will not fix this bug, because after the restart WM is locked automatically and you can't UNlock it ... you have to reflash it ... reflash #2

Everything is working fast and stable. BT fix works great as well with no wake up issue.

I can't figure out how to make G-Alarm work though. Any idea?

New Opera and VoIP will be incorporated to the future ROM although I don't know how the VoIP works. B)

Hi KhuanChai, did you use the XIP I ported for Sector or is this one your own? I don't remember putting the i908 nk.exe in there... did you find another way to fix the wakeup bug?

No, I ported the XIP myself. However, I followed your suggestion by using i908 nk.exe and bootloader. So this new ROM has parts of i900 and i908. B)

We tested that BT and wakeup problems have gone but still remains another bug. We cannot set the device to lock on waken up. Is there anyway to solve this?

I think 6.5 is only for testing and BT fix is very important to me and others I believe.

I actually do not use the CSC at all because I need nothing in it. This is because I'm not using Samsung widget but just M2D. I use the autorun in case of running preconfig CAB/registry files.

Finger mouse is still an issue. Do you think we can find out why it always happens with new XIP/SYS?
