No it's not..

Use a XP machine..

Sector: But it worked in the last release, and editing the settings in CHomeConfig displays the following value for Favorite Settins: \Windows\Start_icon_Favorite_Settings.png...

So the icon must be missing in root directory?

I think it is missing due i tried to many times fixing SYS i forgot to add those icons. You can find whatever icon you wish for and change it to that name and copy it to \Windows\.

It will work 100%.

Im sorry but it wont be any Vista releases. XP it is the safest way to flash we like it or not.

I recommend you to install a Virtual Machine on your Vista with WindowsXP installed.

I flash like this. You can read how-to do it on shokka's kitchen.

sector, im using m3, when i try to connect to a second computer via usb... it asks for a password... wtf?? i dindt put a password! Its not syncing

Install a virtual Machine XP Using VMWare... I too have only vista/windows 7...

And I only flash with a virtual machine... Works just fine..

Here is a German Tutorial.. I can translate it for you if you want to..

but when i tried to sync with the office's pc it asks for as password in the cell...

i always sync with that 2 computers.. never had that issue :S

Second that, on 21215 (SYS/XIP) based on DXID1 - it is a great improvement from previous 21210 & DXIA5 which could take 30+ mins :lol:

Just ran a simple test on how bad can that lock problem can get (I don't usually use the accelerometer, or even change to landscape at all)... And, must say, it gets ugly.

Even more than the lock screen problem, the home panel interface got sluggish, started showing only the center panel first (there was no list underneath), then the panel itself didn't even show what was selected... I could do this only by locking, rotating a few times and trying to unlock :D

Is it just me or this is what people have been talking about?

If it's the general thing, I think I'll be going back to L2... What improvements are there in the new releases anyway? (Performance, battery, bugs-wise?)

I've never been able to get Outlook Live to work. It always says there's a connection problem but I have no problems connecting to the internet using Opera or any programs that need to access it never have any issues

What was bugging me so far: if you go to settings and choose one of the settings the menue closes, so if you want apply any other settings, you have to go to settings everytime you wanna change something...

Is it possible to leave the settings menue opened?

2. Fixes for clock and alarm on lockscreen caused that error. i will check it out

I flashed with M3 last night and I have a problem with Activesync. It wont even recognize my Omnia. If I switch to Mass storage mode in USB it connects just fine. I've tried a couple of hard resets but still wont connect. And since Activesync can't find my Omnia I can't reflash the rom. Anyone got an idea on what I can do?
