Just ran a simple test on how bad can that lock problem can get (I don't usually use the accelerometer, or even change to landscape at all)... And, must say, it gets ugly.

Even more than the lock screen problem, the home panel interface got sluggish, started showing only the center panel first (there was no list underneath), then the panel itself didn't even show what was selected... I could do this only by locking, rotating a few times and trying to unlock :D

Is it just me or this is what people have been talking about?

If it's the general thing, I think I'll be going back to L2... What improvements are there in the new releases anyway? (Performance, battery, bugs-wise?)

I flashed with M3 last night and I have a problem with Activesync. It wont even recognize my Omnia. If I switch to Mass storage mode in USB it connects just fine. I've tried a couple of hard resets but still wont connect. And since Activesync can't find my Omnia I can't reflash the rom. Anyone got an idea on what I can do?

Can you post a screenshot of the notifications issue?

As you can see it displays the time stamp and phone number over where it says MISSED CALL.

hi nixxss, thank you for the feedback. I will flash to this new rom by tonight. It's time to rock it.

Anyway, as I am still very new to custom rom, how do you actually get an update? Like you have a fix for certain bug/issue. Do I have to check back here often for alert?

yeah, keep reading the forums, people post bugs they find and some find work arounds..

Oh I found a bug in mine,

WiFi = on

Phone drops to standby.

wake up and instead of lock screen just get the wallpaper with a wierd line and box bottom left,

nothing I do will unlock phone

phone lock = 6.5 not old school style

Can you check if you get the bug similar to myself from post above??

WiFi turned on, apps opening and running in background - email and opera lets say..

ensure 6.5 lock screen is enabled and set to come on when phone wakes from standby.

then let phone go to standby

when it wakes up can you unlock as expected

i know that it is strange.

some reasons are:

- how you use your device. it is a multitasking device but still it is a mobile device. you must handle it different from a desktop pc.

- what applications you installed after.

- it is common to get errors like doesnt show smth correct or dont work for a moment. it could be many reasons, like memory handling, drivers, applications conflicting etc etc. you will never get a bug free device. Never ever. even in old nokia's which was a simple menu it could stuck sometimes or smth.

- ...

- ...

i'll do my best to improve it but im only one :(

I think the wow's and wonderful's are for the most part encouragement, you gotta remember he does it for free. He does get donations, but pretty much does it for the love of it and I think for the most part if it's all complaining about this or that it can get depressing. Keep the mood up, you can point bugs out but don't be all like a downer which I'm not saying you are but I just think this is why people are the way they are. We can't afford to lose Sector with the amazing work he does! BTW Sector, trying to get the lady to relinquish some cash to throw you because I've been riding your rom's for a long time now and wish I could've donated sooner.

If I'm not mistaken you need to use a file explorer like Resco Explorer or TotalCommander (I think that's what that one is called). I use Resco Explorer.

Well, it's said a hundred times already now I guess. But the unlock screen bug is really nasty in the M3 release.

Other than that it's another great ROM! But if anyone knows/finds a fix for the unlock screen let us know!

Don't know how the lockscreen works, but perhaps it's possible to switch back to an older version or something? Preferably with a .cab or some file replacement. All the flashing all the time makes my brain go boom :D

With the new bliss theme, is there a way to change the color of the slider to something other than blue? Maybe clear like we had for the initial WM7 theme or a lighter color blue?

Flashed to M3 just to give it a try and do not seem to be able to get the Rhodium Finger Menu to work on this ROM. Worked fine on L2. Only a little thing but I really hate those old style menus - make me feel like I am using Win 98!

Edit: scratch that. It obviously wasn't Rhodium Finger Menu that was giving me the different menus in L2 (just looked at the Rhodium thread on PPCGeeks and it is completely different) so can anybody tell me if the menus on M3 are old stlye while those on L2 where a different stlye with a rounded border. Confused...

Hi sector,

i've flashed to your M3 rom. 1st i install the bliss theme but find the focus bar too narrow. Then i uninstall and install the WM7 ver2a. After i did that, the programs panel can no longer be seen on the Titanium Screen. I check and make sure i enable it through chome editor. but it just dun show up.

I try to reinstall the bliss theme... the programs panel still dont show up... :lol:

i try to disable and enable again. Still no go.

Any idea how to go about solving this? or did i do soemthing that corrupt the theme? :D

1) you press and hold the volume button(yes, I have it activated)

2) when you select flash on(not auto) in the camera app.

Volume button Works, but only if you are on the Today screen.

Look for Torchlight cab around here. You can run it anytime as an appl.

Guys, i don't use the winmo lock, i use S2U2 and i don't have problem with the wifi after standby, it is working great, and for copyimg files i use resco explorer, and i always set the rotation to manual, i don't like it and rarely use it........ with that i still say wow, wonderful rom....... cheers)))))))
