I want to send a file via bluetooth but I notice now there is no option to choose sending a file via bluetooth. In the previous rom the m2 there is an option to choose, i think. Is this only my problem or does anyone else have the same problem.

Haven't used File explorer to send a file for a long time but I remember it was beam, just like you do with a IR port but instead, it offers you bluetooth devices as destinations as well..

I prefer Total commander though..

i know that it is strange.

some reasons are:

- how you use your device. it is a multitasking device but still it is a mobile device. you must handle it different from a desktop pc.

- what applications you installed after.

- it is common to get errors like doesnt show smth correct or dont work for a moment. it could be many reasons, like memory handling, drivers, applications conflicting etc etc. you will never get a bug free device. Never ever. even in old nokia's which was a simple menu it could stuck sometimes or smth.

Don't get me wrong man, I didn't want to mean it was your fault or anything. And I (or WE) do know very well that you're absolutely doing your best, or even more...

I think the wow's and wonderful's are for the most part encouragement, you gotta remember he does it for free. He does get donations, but pretty much does it for the love of it and I think for the most part if it's all complaining about this or that it can get depressing.

Well, the aim of the post was to understand if it was me/my phone or if the situation was more or less the same for everyone. ('cause, if it was all fine for even _some_ people, I'd start trying over and over again, until I get it right the way I'd love)

By the way, I (of course) know these would probably be buggy, or at least sometimes behave unexpectedly. That's why they are not released, right? And, I wouldn't be using these daily without accepting that.

But, also, we human beings always search for the better, no matter what we have at hand, don't we?

I do not even care about most of the bugs, but when I see someone state something, I do check if my phone behaves that way or not. Accepting/knowing bugs or problems come first.

Anyway, sector, I didn't even flash back to L2, just did a hard-reset and still using it. Have a load of apps installed and I do/will try to push as far as I can. Any news on your side, both about bug-fixes and new versions/adds?

Sector I use L2 and there is no vibration on my incoming calls :D

I'm having exactly the same problem (Khuanchai_Omnia_Lite_21210) ... and I've tried almost every possible setup to have my vibration back on incoming call .. with no success :-(

For every other feature, the vibration works.

Any idea ?

Currently using Sectors rom and i dont have the vibration problem.I set in notifications "vibrate and ring" and it works ok.

i have the same bug,

same here, have to take the battery off and then power on again, like 4 or 5 times a day, but it's the only bug I have to report, everything else is working fine, thanks Sector :D . Wanted to know if M3 was such an improvement because I'm thinking about flashing back to L2, for the use I make of my Omnia, it was bug free!

Anyway Sector's work is great, that's why I'm now addicted to his roms.

How about a bug/to do list, so that sector and the other developers won't lose the track..

May be this list can be shown on the first page, so that you don't have to search for it every time?

I'll start with some bugs, based on L2 because M3 is too buggy for me overall:

Bugs:

• Contact Fix: letters are not shown in contacts: f.e.: Name Lastname; Number; < m > <-- This "m" is missing
  
• Lock Screen: Especially in landscape the phone unlocks too early. I think it's nicer if you have to move the slider to the end of the screen;
  
• When connected to a Wi-Fi Network the notification on the Clock tab is not centered; it should be above the date
  
• Clock Fix on lock screen; But this has been done in M3...
  
• Whole Day Calendar events are not shown on the lock screen
  
  
  • screen lock after screen rotation
    
  • Notification panel displays the date time and phone number over where it says missed calls
    
  • Outlook Live does not function ( I think that's due to MS)
    

  I think that's it so far; pretty stable this release..

  To do list/Wishes:

  [*]Settings close afer choosing one setting. So if you want to make many changes you have to reopen Settings every time. Would be nice if they stay opend until you close them.

But is there a way if you install Media Album that you can scroll through your pictures acessing them on the pictures tab on home screen? Because if Media Album is installed i can only open one picture, but I can not flick through them like with HTC Album.

I tried khuanchai roms too, now on sector roms, and never had this problem. Maybe you should try the Settings>Sounds and notifications>Notifications>Ring type: Vibrate or Vibrate and ring (my setting). It should work, if not try a hard reset or even better, flash your phone again.

I wonder what the hell you do with when installing new ROM `s :D

I have the latest ROM & untill now has no problems, zip, niente, nothing, nada :lol:

personally I think this ROM is very stable and, as I said free of bugs

the only thing I would like to know is when sector launches a new rom describing the differences between them what sector you think?

ok is a new version of XIP / SYS but exactly what are the differences?

  To add to that we do have the screen lock after screen rotation on M3. We also have the notification panel has displays the date time and phone number over where it says missed calls. Outlook Live as well does not function, says you are not connected when in fact you are connected to the internet. Those are my bugs on M3, there are others but sorry for the brain fart.

Ya about the scrolling. If I open my photos with Media Album the flick scroll works too, but not if i open them with the pictures tab, which is a pity..

It works for you?

That's weird because it looks like this, on my phone..

On the dialer it works fine...

EDIT: If there is just the email or a privat number it displays the letter; but there are no arrows..

Just some feedback on the above two:

- The wifi notification was off-centre because of having to dispplay AM/PM if time is set to hh:mm:ss. I've fixed this (and a bunch of other smalll layout fixes) and will send to Sector for the next release.

- The lockscreen slider is done by a sequence of icons that animate out one after the other. Will have a look at that and see if it's possible to extend the animation sequence.

We also have the notification panel has displays the date time and phone number over where it says missed calls.

It's only with the Bliss theme right? Standard L/M Titanium layout is wokring fine.

I believe one thing you should allow for other people situations is that they load and use some of these large, complicated commercial programs such as SPB Mobile Shell or WisBar Adv 3, there can be strange things to happen. I had one with Wisbar that another person found a file that had to be disabled for all to work together. Easy fix, but only if you know about it.

I think we should bring these things to the chefs attention in case it really is showing something in the rom that should be tweaked for all programs to work together well.

Has anyone came up with a new taskbar for WM 6.5 that actually displays the signal strength on the normal screen? It appears all the other taskbars happen to have issues with 6.5, I don't know why... what did 6.5 ever do to them :lol:

Yes... Genix. The only known issue from what I can tell is with the Bliss theme. :D

I wrote in the previous post was not a criticism just an observation :lol:

the only problem is when I start up with the cpr files. but I would easily solve them :D

M3 is an amazing rom! I added online widgets and all other original samsung apps, and it is everything perfect ! I thing that official 6.5 ( if they came ever) looks like the full samsung rom i have now.

Don't change anything in upcoming updates!

Bad news man, got for you just one file! The ones ending on .96.dll cannot be copied and the rest I dont have them in \windows :lol: I think I have to open the \windows with Resco Explorer (which I dont have installed now) to be able to copy .96.dll' files cous they are protected and the only way might be to change the attributes, copy them, and then restore the values! But still I am missing two files:shellres.96.dll and OverrideIcon.dll! :D If you still need them tomorrow I'll instal Resco Expl and try to copy them. I am with L2 currently.

Aren't those XIP (Executed In Place) files? Can only extract from a dumped ROM I think :D
