May I request that you guys build a ROM with the latest stable 6.1 OS incl. the BT fix with no wakeup issue?

I think 6.5 is only for testing and BT fix is very important to me and others I believe.

This is not difficult at all. However, there's still one issue remains, cannot set the device to lock on waken up. Is this very important for you guys?

Anyone here is also interested in going back to WM6.1?

I actually do not use the CSC at all because I need nothing in it. This is because I'm not using Samsung widget but just M2D. I use the autorun in case of running preconfig CAB/registry files.

Finger mouse is still an issue. Do you think we can find out why it always happens with new XIP/SYS?

My aim is to look at the finger mouse issue tonight... don't know if it can be easily fixed though.

ROM spec:

- Build 21176

- 3 today GUIs: default=Titanium, second=normal WM6.1 today, third=TouchFlo2D

- Opera

- BT routing fixed and no wakeup bug

- Multi-language support

here I'll post few comments about few applications on the new ROM build 21176 WM 6.5:

1. VoIP - the build in WM 6.5 VoIP support with SIP protocol is working JUST PERFECT.

I'm using a utiliti to setup my VoIP account available here: WM6VoIPFull.cab

QBUS, Sector and Khuanchai is it possible to include this VoIP configuration tool in your next ROM versions - the VoIP functionalitty in WM 6.x is working really very good and for my NOMAD way of life is very usefull

2.Opera version 15746 - it's not the latest version, I can't find the zoom function on it :(

I upgraded to the latest (as I know) version 15954 (available here) and the new zoom feature on the bottom left is working OK.

3. GPS navigation is working OK: iGO version 8.3.2.71348

4. WiFi and Bluetooth are OK

5. Device lock / unlock isn't working well (using the close button)

6. After instalation of a few other tools: Resco explorer / today plugin / ftp and registry and after spb wireless monitor my WM 6.5 stopped working - made 4 / 5 restarts but after reboot it freezes on the today screen (traing to load spb wireless today plugin ...) and I reflashed it B) ... ... reflash #1

...

I think that I found the problem - it's the Device Lock function. If you LOCK your device, you will damage your pretty new WM 6.5 ROM build 21176 instalation :( and you have to reflash it ...

1 / 2 / 10 restarts will not fix this problem, because after the restart WM is locked automatically and you just can't UNLOCK it .. can't answer calls and etc :(

hi guys,

I flashed mine with this latest ROM, everything seems working fine, the issue are:

1. Start Menu items are sluggish, very hard to navigate using fingers, it seems to be screen sensivity.

2. Icon faded in colour - such as email icons in the inbox (the icon is like a verticle stripes in purple), even at Programs icons (in M2D)

3. Weather was having issue when I add a location, it unable to retrieve the information until I add another site (which I remove back).

4. Titanium UI hard to be nagivated as well keep on sliping to others.

5. Internet Explorer - I don't know what is the right most icon for since when I press nothing appear, I guess it should be for the setting which is not working.

6. M2D New SMS composer icon displayed doesn't launch the 'new sms'.

I suggest to include:

1. Modaco NoData instead of GB-SOFT Tweak.

2. Saman SMS DeliveryReceiptFix

3. S2U2 (it would be nice if this taskbar alike will be used instead of original WM

Now I am running with M2D and it is running good. I encourage others to use this ROM. Hope the new release can be released in lite version that we can select what application to add on it.

Flashing for just 4 times is not too bad though. :( I couldn't count how many flashes I have done during the past 2 days building this ROM.

This device lock problem has been found in the previous 6.5 builds (21159 and 21169). I think it's not completely solved for this build (although less than before). To work around is try not to lock your device shortly after flash. Play around and restart it several times then you will be able to lock it later.

Note to everyone: this new 21176 ROM is NOT a clean build at all. Not sure it's a fake or not but it contains files and modules from many builds (21112 to 21176), and including the very old Omnia files (build 20270). It might not be very stable but the best we want is stable enough for daily use. That's why we want your comments/reports.

I think my i900 is died after the device lock function...I can't do any thing any more... I restarts it many times but the screen is locked and I can't unlock it again...There is blue and green colour lines in my screen... B)

This ROM is really ROCKS and every thing is working perfectly without any Problems

I just installed all my Programs and still have 82 mb and the my phone is still working fast

screen sinsetivity is great and the speed is also great sometimes i fell its faster than 6.1

LOCK is not working but its not big issue

I think my i900 is died after the device lock function...I can't do any thing any more... I restarts it many times but the screen is locked and I can't unlock it again...There is blue and green colour lines in my screen... B)

Nothing to worry m8, do a hard reset (holding left and right hard keys + press reset on top of the phone with your stylus). Then press left hard key to hard reset your phone.

i will release clean and other programs, without the BT audio fix --> it will work ok.

just be patience, im having some issues and trying to fix them.

dont blame Kuanchai for the rom as this is beta still. it is your decision if u want to try it or not and we are trying minimize the errors.

yes, it's important to me. there're couple times i had my phone in my pocket, i heard lot of clicking noice, when i took it out of my pocket and saw lot of alphabets on the screen. some times it answered the call by itself too.

for me, this ROM is as stable as most of the old 6.1 versions and i won't go back to the old.

can you please make another ROM semilar to this without the BT work around thing? cause i know that you guys tried to get BT works, someone like me don't use BT but need lock on wake up

I wan't to give the beta an try too on my Omnia, what windows do you recommend to flash my omnia? XP or Vista? I'm currenlty running Vista/Windows 7 in multi boot but making a XP machine is no problem.

Sector will make the ROM without BT fixed very soon. It's very interesting to me that there are mixed requirements from testers. This is understandable since our daily uses may be different.

Choices:

1. M2D ROM:

- 21176 + BT fixed, cannot lock on waken up, device lock problem

- 21176 - BT fixed, no wakeup bug but no BT voice dialing, device lock problem

- 20270 + BT fixed, cannot lock on waken up, no device lock problem

2. Classic ROM (no M2D):

- 21176 + BT fixed, cannot lock on waken up, device lock problem

- 21176 - BT fixed, no wakeup bug but no BT voice dialing, device lock problem

- 20270 + BT fixed, cannot lock on waken up, no device lock problem

I can do all of these but it can take me several days and a lot of space uploading all of them to my upload storage space. B)

Absolutely no problem here with Windows 7 x64. I don't know what you people's problem is with this OS issue. I flashed several times with different 64-Bit builds of seven.

Can you share your method? i tried the Vista method mentioned on my Windows 7 system which I use for ROM development and it became very unstable and crashing/resetting itself every half hour or so...

am lovin the new rom and have got Samsung widgets, M2D, titanium all working!

but the titanium and programs honeycomb is very slow and screen sensitivity is not the best.

Any thoughts or should I just wait for the next release ...

i like the M2D without BT fixed, but it's not in your list of choices.

i'll wait for sector classic & install M2D on it then. can you give me the download link to your M2D in this version & the HTC TaskManager please
