Hehe thanks forelli,

I'm using the original A1 ROM (20270.1.3.1) and the first thing I would do is making a backup :D

I'd like to have a look at WM6.5, since you still can't use WM6.1 without a stilo and tbh it's pretty disgusting...

So what is the magic ROM for my A1 Omnia now? Is there a final yet? Danke im voraus

Go to start>einstellungen>system>version, there you can find the rom version: should be something like i900XBHI5, i think it was ending with AJ2. You will have the phone part and the pda part like on this picture. If your rom is too old, you might need to upgrade first to a newer before you upgrade to the latest DXID1. You can find some help on the 2nd pinned topic of the rom discussion about the Incorrect software version.

Where can i get the phone part DXID1? Flashed from german HL2 to M3 rom. When sector finished his N1 rom i want have the phone part updated, too. Any suggestions?

when u upgrade to one the roms L2, M3 or the upcoming N1, u will have the DXId1 it is included in the rom, i upgraded to L2 first from a DXIA5 official rom, and i got the DXID1

actually flash not upgrade..

No, M3 has no DXID1 phone part (i flashed this one). Sector wrote:

What i can suggest is the meantime while waiting for N1 flash to L2. u will keep urself busy while waiting)))))

and then later flash directly to N1, u don't have to flash to M3

i don't know what it exactly mean, but if u look to settings.. system.. version, u see pda part and phone part.

and we are all waiting, i think sector is working on it while we are typing now, hope all go smooth and we will get it tonight as he mentioned earlier

What you guys will have to do if you want the phone update as well is first flash with rom L2 and then upgrade to N1. Since you won't be upgrading the phone portion with N1 the upgraded phone portion from L2 will stay with until you flash with a new rom that has a phone update as well.

All you need to do is open the program "Favourite hackings" and in there you will see the button in the top right that says "Dialer SKin' Press it and reboot. Tada the Samsung one is back! :D

Comes with the WM Dialer by default if I'm not mistaken. You may need to install the .cab for the Samsung Dialer.

Vinbeaver has a point, it may have been extracted from M3. Use the repository at the first page to find a download for it! :D

I found I had to install the standard samsung widget.cab then installed the online widget.cab. Also make sure you have Adobe Flash Lite 2.1 installed. It works on mine. Goodluck. :D

M3 does not have phone D1. Flash L2 first which has phone D1. Then anything higher will leave what you have (D1) as is.

Cooks do not put phone part in most roms as the phone part stays the same for awhile. And the flash runs quicker for us without the phone part every time. So catch phone D1 in rom L2.
