Great work!

My wish-list in clean ROM is:

- Only default KB

- MayBe MS Office as native text-editor

- Opera by stand-alone cab

- No 3rd party addon app

- Flash and netCF updated

- All samsung soft removed, cab repository is preffered if possible

So, in theory we can have something like native CD|DVD installation disc with Windows. Any tuning will be made by owner after installing. Maybe not now, maybe after final build is accessible to you, dont know. Anyway, you are cooking perfect ROMs.

Been on N most of the day and it's working great...i haven't seen the lock screen bug. I'm hoping this ROM fixes it completely.

Been running it for a few hours now I think. Haven't encountered any problems so far. Seems like a very nice and good ROM, thanks!

And I think the ROM is good as it is now. Not too much bloatware, but only very usable apps. For me it's perfect now. Everything else I can install automaticly.

And the unlock screen bug is gone, WOOHOO! Now I can enjoy iGO Amigo again in landscape more, there where it looks good :D

Chaps, is it just me or you catch this weird Finger Keyboard bug too? Sometimes a small black

rectangle pops up in the top left corner, which appears to be nothing but a screwed up "1" key

of the Finger Keyboard SIP. Holding it down pops up the secondary function key balloon, just like

if the SIP was on the screen and you held the "1" key down ...

Easiest way is to download fingerkeyboard 2.1 from here...

install it... then uninstall it... then delete the directory in your main storage under program files.

sorry dude but im not adding more apps on the rom :( . it will become overloaded.

G-Alarm etc can be installed separately.

Weather-app u have Titanium Weather. You can disable it if u dont like it.

NoData - i never use it but could be cooked.

The rest what i include are known.

FKb i think it is better than samsung. It is a matter of taste.

On lite rom i will remove for sure Office. I will make cabs but not now cause im a bit wasted with all these :D .

Gosh man, I didn't mean to add anything new to the ROM, actually I'm kinda "lite" version guy :D (Used qbus' lite 6.1 ROM as base for a long time and have a list of apps to install handy already)

I was just asking about a vote (maybe) on apps, to define what is "bare-bone" (or shall I say a MUST) for most users and what apps are extra ('cause that changes for everybody and the forum can't reach consensus on that)...

So, the next time something comes out, posts about "please add this" or "what the heck, why don't we remove that" would lessen (another maybe).

Then, you can concentrate better on what you already do very good: Feeding the hungry birds, us :lol:

By the way, I give my +1 to the Custom Custom ROM idea... That makes great sense.

Anyway, thanks... You've been flash-fast to get it ready and I'm downloading now :lol:

PS: Lastly, sector or anyone, do we have .cpr's for 4 column / non-hexagonal start menu layouts? I'd love that, I kinda dislike the new look. Scrolling with finger is more than ok, and I want to design my own look for it. But I need a base. (I'm at the very beginning of that stuff, so I might be reinventing America).. I'd be glad for any help on that.

@Emre check the StartMenu_GridScene_240x400 and 400x240 cpr

you will smth like this <GridView ID="Start Menu Items List" Top="2" Left="0" Width="240" Height="368" Columns="3" Scrollable="TRUE" HexagonGrid="TRUE" HorizontalWrapAround="TRUE">

change the value to 4

for landscape <GridView ID="Start Menu Items List" Top="0" Left="0" Width="400" Height="218" Scrollable="TRUE" HexagonGrid="TRUE" HorizontalWrapAround="TRUE"> there is no Columns=...

so you can add it to your preferable if u want.

you might need to change other values also to fit nicer to the screen.

please let me know how it goes.

I think it would be better to have a LITE rom, then just be able to add what you want (including the new MS stuff) by cab installation :D

i will wait for a newer version as i just cooked 21231 some hours ago.. if there are serious changes i will do it but i dont think so.
