I went into some settings in Favorite Hackings for Omnia, did a soft-reset...

SOFT RESET UNSUCCESSFUL. (phone reboot, however, after WM6.5 welcome screen, device went blank.)

No actions by any buttons can wake it up.

Solution: Pin-pressed RESET button

Device Revived.

any idea what went wrong?

I realised the ROM decreases quite rapidly and does not recover even after closing ALL applications opened previously. (Is this a bug?)

i guess this MS3 version could be the root cause but cannot find anything on forums until now.

i have no problem with SPB backup. Why do u use 2 programs for backup. 1 program is enough.

if u are upgrading from diff systems you might have problems. for example 21222 to 21232

Am I the only one with these problems? The Opera one has been happening for me on the last few sector ROMS.

Hi can anyone help? I can't delete the standard bookmarks from Opera (games, wallpapers etc). They just keep coming back. Is this just me, or does everyone have to put up with it

It's now working, got to hard reset a few times and cold reboot my xp machine.. <_<

Next time I would try the cold boot of XP sooner. It seems Activestink sometimes just gets tied up in its own stink.

hi,

recurrent issue on my side : most of my apps trend to exit after few seconds and move me back to the

home screen. looks like SPA reset is solving the issue for a while. and then issue comes back..

not sure about it but looks like it starts again once i connected with ActiveSync.

i used to experience this kind of issue few times with previous ROMs (occurence was acceptable)

but very (too) often with my current config :

- WM6.5 #21232 build (w/ titanium and HTC button disabled)

- SPB MS3.0.1 beta3

i guess this MS3 version could be the root cause but cannot find anything on forums until now.

anybody experiencing the same ?

I have written on this before here. But your best bet is to go to the SPB Club site where there is a long thread on this problem. The latest thought there is that it happens when program memory gets low and MS3 does some weird reset routine that needs to be changed. Check it out.

Update- I see you got to SPB Club ahead of this. Keep watching them because people over there are getting mad because no fix yet after a month and threatening to not buy the key after the trial time is up. Ron...

i dont use 2 backup programs i only use sprite backup i just mentioned that i had SPB mobile shell 3.0 instaled and when i dield somone from spb contact's or favorit's no Name apherars only phone number but eaven if somone call's me and i dont have him in spb favorit's stil dosen't aphear the name <_< so when somone is calling i only see his number and this is my big problem :)

Nope... surprised not a single person has mentioned it. I noticed that it really bugged me... but I can send a pic of what it should look like. Unfortunately, I don't have the CPR for me to go back as I didn't back it up. The issue is in the start menu where the background does not completely take up the whole screen, it will display different parts of the picture where the top and bottom taskbar are. I can also send you the files that I use as there are 4 of them. The background should be displayed just like the today/titanium.

It was mention in the few earlier message. You need to re-install Chome editor. Get the cab file.

Just installed 21232. I previously had 21232 on.

After the start up logo comes on.. it asks to align the screen.

mine just goes on and on, restarting the alignment each time. Is there anyway to get it to stop and proceed with the rest of the stuff?

Anyone else has this problem? or has had it b4?

I installed the N1 few days ago ..

i have some problems with the email notification. Sometimes i hear the tone that i got an new email, but sometimes i dont hear anything and also get no notification in the screen. Then i just see in or mobile shell 3 or in titanium that i got an email.

Anyone experience this problem as well?? I think i didnt have that problem when i had the 21222 version.

is this problem still in the O1 ?

No one an answer or solution for this problem ? or anyone has the same problem?

the solution to your problem is Outlook live and it costs money (subscrition). If you try with GMX, it's automatic, the phone gets the settings online within 10 seconds...

Sorted it out. While patiently waiting for the align screen to go away while clicking on the +...

I unscrewed my omnia, just the diagonal screws...

and guess wat, it went through fine! Saves buying a new panel/screen or whatever...
