No one an answer or solution for this problem ? or anyone has the same problem?

I have had this happen before. I had to do hardware hard reset by pressing power, pickup, and hangup buttons at same time and then release. Select Format. Then reflash. Good luck to you.

Ron...

Update- I see you found another way before my response. Good. Could you say a little more about what screws you had to undo? Thanks. Ron...

Yea, I googled search the problem and hard reset was the solution.

Did that about twice and didnt work...

I went flashed back 21222 ... that still had the same prob.. then flashed my previous firmware before i had winmo 6.5 which was "i900DXHK3".... that still didnt work..

Some one on here recommended i "change the panel"... I'm assuming they meant the screen or something, since that was one of the solutions I found from googling*

Removing the back cover of the omnia, there are 4 screws at each corner.. , lets say starting clockwise and top left, I losened screw1, removed screw2, loosened screw3, and removed screw4.... then tried aligning my screen... It went through at the first try <_<

Then placed the screws back in and tightened all

Dont know if this is a solution, but it sure bits buying a new screen! Could be just luck really, who knows

Ok I installed this ROM recently and after 2 days of using I've got some problems.

1. That new kinetic scrolling system stopped working and is somehow back to how it was in 6.1

2. Honeycomb stopped working too. I tried reflashing, hard reseting, replacing files but can't make it work again.

3. CAnalogClock... uh it's hard to describe... Let's say it changes the icon resolution itself and starts jumping over whole screen lol.

Halp q_q...

Hey everybody, i just have one question... is it normal that i can't answer with hardware button any incomming call? It happens only when SmartLock's "WM6.5 new lock" is checked... with regular Windows Lock everything is fine (i have noticed this problem in N1 and in present one O1 ROM which i am using at the moment) that's the only problem i have found to b honest... everything else is perfect GREAT JOB !!!

Yes i've noticed this in N1. Using the hardware CALL button while the slidelock is on can actually get my omnia in a funky state where it's locked but i don't have access to the slide button to unlock it, requiring a soft reset.

Here ya go Sector. There are 4 files total. If anyone else wants to download these to fix your start menu background just unzip and copy them to /Windows.

This was originally uploaded by someone else, but I cannot remember their name... just so you know this is not my work but just a fix.

i think it was rendeiro2005 who did it but like you not sure if it was maybe the original person can confirm lol <_< :)

I wasn't sure so I just included them all. I would've named you as the person who fixed it but I was damned if I could remember lol. I think the other 2 lighten up the color as well so it ain't as dark if I'm not mistaken.

Hi evryone i updated with the latest rom and i have a problem i used "Sprite Backup" to restore my contacts and mesages i use SPB mobile shel 3.0 on the previous rom i had instald SPB 3 and i had no problemes but on this one i have When i set my favorits and i call somone from the favorits list it dosent show me the name of the contact <_< only hes number :|and when i go to contact's and call logit aphers the number but no name and if i call a number from phone contact's list it's ok and another thing i gott a SMS mesage from somone i had in my contact's list and when i go to text mesages it only show's hes number no name :) why is this happening? SOMONE PLEASE HELP! THX

Hi! I've experienced the same problem and I think it's solved, but I don't really know what did it. I'll try to explain what I think happened:

First thing I did was go to settings/personal/phone/services and then tried to update some of those, the numbers updated for i.e. "Voice Mail and text Messages" were completely wrong, they were italian numbers and I'm in Norway...

I then remembered having seen that if I don't enter the SIM's PIN code right away, pretty soon the phone goes to a "refreshing SIM data..." screen and thereafter asks me if I want to change network settings to TIM/ita.

I thought that maybe that could have something to do with it because of land prefix and such.

Now what I did next I'm not sure you can do: every time I have flashed the phone, no matter what ROM, I get an icon in the program list (start menu in WM6.5) with my network carrier's name (this happens apparently automatically). Clicking that icon sends me to a screen where I can select "mobile network" and then "local and abroad" or "abroad" (note: these are translations from Norwegian and may not be the actual text in english). I select one of those and then I get the "refreshing SIM data..." screen again.

But this time if I try to get settings from network for i.e. "Voice Mail and text messages" again, it'll get the correct numbers starting with +47 which is for Norway.

After this I simply upload all contacts, mails, and call logs (I'm using Sprite Backup also, but I'va used PIM backup as well) things are working fine again.

I've also seen that the numbers that I dialed directly, those that belonged to a contact, but didn't show contact name, keep beeing handled as unknown contacts and have to be deleted from the call log. If I then dial them again, the correct contact name will show.

I haven't had a chance to check this with SMS messages, but I assume the same thing applies: those message threads that don't show the correct contact name any more have to be deleted and reloaded.

Hope this is somewhat understandable and helps!

Hi can anyone help? I can't delete the standard bookmarks from Opera (games, wallpapers etc). They just keep coming back. Is this just me, or does everyone have to put up with it

Thanks

Hi all,

I guess that as this is the fifth time I've asked, with no reply, that I'm the only one having these problems and that no one can think of any possible solutions?

Last time then - the Opera that comes with sector's brilliant roms always have bookmarks (games, ringtones, Screensaver, Videos, Wallpapers & What's New) which I can't delete. They delete when I'm in there but immediately come back if I exit the app and go back in.

Would be nice to know if it's just me, or if anyone has any ideas?

Thanks.

No, the other two is just the grid adjusments for startmenu, Sector has already lighten things up there, so no need for the Screen files. Only he forgot or lost the other 2 'Global' files...

Not sure about the 1st two, but the CAnalogClock issue is a bug the author's aware of and trying to fix for the next beta.

These can be deleted during build stage (i always forget to tho <_<), but i remember that when i delete mine, they didnt come back, unless i hard reset.

I open opera, tap the bookmarks tab, then delete one by one. Seems to work for me??

If you are doing the same way, then maybe something is up, do you use a backup app?

Hi Shokka9,

Thanks for the reply. When I do as you say (delete one by one) then close Opera normally, the next time I open it, they come back again.

If I use the Titanium import function while Opera's closed, it doesn't import them so i guess they're gone but when i open Opera again, it puts them back again. No backup software.

So, I've just installed the latest opera and updated the registry fields for Titanium and it's all OK now, so I guess I've found a work around.

Strange that it was only for me though, and straight after a fresh install!

Thanks agani for your reply - much apprectiated.

Hi sector,

I don't know if it has been mentioned before, but I just figured out another bug..

If your phone is locked and somebody is calling you, you can't answer the phone with the Answer Key. Pressing the button will just open the phone history.

Cheers
