Guest forelli Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 ok i will include it. but here is a list what is removed: MS Widgets, LiveSearch, VoiP, MS Office... all those take around 30mb of space. please let me know if it is ok before i build the rom and get crazy also <_< +1 Chef cook! cabs are made to have the freedom of installing what we need. Very good, thanks :)
Guest Christian Spain Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 2nd post updated ultra lite version! Awesome speed. Man you are always on top of it. Question is there any stability differences when installing cab's (finger board, shutXP, Office etc.) to my storage as opposed to the main memory? What I am trying to get at is, are there any drawbacks that offsett the increased main memory? ONCE AGAIN AWESOME WORK <_< B) :) :D
Guest adasad Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 2nd post updated ultra lite version! thank you sector & good work we need the cab of MS Widgets (Money, Weather )

Guest lutharigno Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 Can't wait, I haven't flashed in 2wks! <_< I'm sure this will be another great rom. Thanks for all the work!
Guest Jophster Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 Hi All After solving the constant internet connection I went on to install my TomTom Nav. 7 I have looked on the forum and set it up as an external GPS COM7 and it says POOR GPS SIGNAL and no sign of any connections. I then downloaded GoogleMaps which works fine using Data Connection but couldnt find any sattelites. Agreeably, I am in quite a sheltered area when I tried using GoogleMaps but it didnt work at all when I drove around and had a clear, unsheltered area. Meaning it could just be TomTom but I'm not sure... Anyone else had any problems/solutions. Thanks.
Guest tolk Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 Sorry to be a right pain in this ass but: Can someone provide me (or link me to) a step by step idiot proof (yes i am an idiot and very new to all of this) guide to installing this, i know this has probably been asked on the post already but its 200 odd pages which I don't have time to read. (I'm using an omnia I bought in the UK, on orange network, and I believe it's is unlocked - well i can swap sims in and out from different networks, if any of that is relevant) Plus I have a few questions: Is it a big improvement over 6.1? Is the overall performance any better than 6.1 (I find my i900 somewhat sluggish given its got a reasonable processor)? How can I keep my contacts and messages I already have stored on current ROM? Is there any problems with the ROM that i'm likely to encounter or will effect me? Thanks, sorry for stupid newbie questions.

Guest ronaldb3 Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 (edited) Question: Do you want Ultralite rom? Meaning i will remove almost everything. Only titanium will be installed. All MS small apps will be removed also except WM MSN live to work with msn panel. or Lite rom? Hi sector, Actually to be a real Ultralite I think it should not have Titanium. I am a MS3 user as you. Just need Ultralite to be pretty light. Ron... UPDATE: I go to the store for a couple of hours and come back and you have a new rom out. <_< I am going to use the UL version and add lots of cabs. :) Serious question tho - could a lite rom be made without Titanium or M2M??? Would this save a lot of memory?? Then one could use any shell such as MS3 or another. Ron... Edited May 23, 2009 by ronaldb3
Guest ronaldb3 Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 most probably bug fixes. i dont know more but better to have the latest version isnt it? Hi sector, I was hoping 21234 was the "final" WM6.5 development one. Do you think so??? Ron...
Guest thePuck Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 Sector why in your firmware U don't use this X TRA? It better then standard... http://www.samsung-omnia.org/how-to/how-wh...sg4860/#msg4860
Guest swierszcz666 Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 can you add only JBend 2009 from your rom?<_<

Guest visions77 Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 Hi, not sure if it's been asked before. Video calls is not working in the latest ROMS?
Guest quickonthefeet Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 Hi, Thanks for great ROMs. <_< :) B) Quick question: Is it possible to restore a Full Backup(using Sprite or Spb) on a new freshly installed ROM? or would it create conflicts! (for example a full backup of my phone with 21232 built on to 21234 version). Your input is appreciated! Cheers! :D
Guest Emre SUMENGEN Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 Any news for non-hexagonal layout on the start menu (not large one, but ex-honeycomb)? I can't find the app I seek as easy as I did with a linear icon layout... Am I the only one? (I've read somewhere about our eyes and brain, trained to scan vertically or horizontally, but not hexagonally <_< if you know what I mean :)) Have you a .cab for the new Microsoft Office that's with these newest releases or could we get a .cab. That would be awesome, because then I would go ultra-lite. Don't need any of that other stuff. +1 on that... Office is something that's not used regularly for me, but it can save someone's .ss in a critical moment B) (Business calls :P) Hi sector, Actually to be a real Ultralite I think it should not have Titanium. I am a MS3 user as you. Just need Ultralite to be pretty light. Ron... I really agree on that. I mean, titanium is just a slightly modified version of what's available on the WM6.1 Standard... So, I don't get what's the so "wow" fuss about it :D Maybe it can be about it's being customizable, I don't know yet. But I'm sure I'd prefer a Neo style home screen if I must, or go for MS3 or Manila (if it was just a little less boring). Sorry to hear Titanium is indispensable or must-have with WM6.5 :D Anyways, nice and fast job done Sector, as always... It's a pleasure to try keeping up with your pace, man! Just didn't read the topic for 2 days, and there's a new release already...
Guest Emre SUMENGEN Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 By the way people, is it something with me or don't WVGAFIX3 work with WM6.5? I can't get it to change my resolution :) I depended on it for guitar hero <_<))))

Guest sector Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 <_< :) B) Sector same problem with your new version also the align screen !!! Can t go more far than that !!! Have u an solution for me cose i want to use your rom Thanks for sharing that Dont get angry as it is not my fault. Most probably it is hardware fault but you could check s0cks thread how to bypass the welcome screen. There was another guy's solution here that he unscrewed the 4 four screws behind your phone, as i can recall and put them back in and worked.
Guest johnny64 Posted May 24, 2009 Report Posted May 24, 2009 Hi Sector, Nice job and I'm liking your Rom. I noticed you fixed Showaco Chome Editor on your latest Rom, does it mean I now can add new panels and create new pages as well? On previous Rom (21232) Chome Editor just shuts down itself when creating new page when adding program files to the short cuts. keep up the good work my man. BTW: hoe does "InCallRecording" works?? Cheers.
