Hi Sector and all who contribute to release of ROMs,

Thanks to your ROM. At first, I almost want to go back to the original 6.1 ROM. When I got to realize and see some functions that the ROM has to offer (like Voice Commander, it was so cool <_< ) , its really great! I just have a problem in reinstalling all my settings back again.

you mention I can use SPB Backup to reinstall my apps after upgrading to latest built ROM.

Will that be ok? Since the SPB Backup had backup the files from the old build ROM?

To all you guys! Which do you prefer

1. Restore apps via SPB backup

2. Restore apps via Sashimi

3. Restore apps in a normal way.

I really need your inputs on this.

use backup for contact sms calendar and some critical file for your most important prg

Ive tried Sprint Backup before, which is something like SPB backup, but I never liked backing up programs and just restoring them like that as you wouldve lost your registry and it just doesnt seem like a full install (apps dont appear in add/remove either).

With Sashimi, you can fully customize your backup which is great imo, you just simply put cabs and files into the sashimi folder, and then run it on automode after flash and it will automate what you wouldve done with installing cabs yourself.

Yeh man.... Sashimi rulez!!! Have my omnia all set within 5 min after a flash... So even if ROM's come out everyday.... no problemo for me

- Removed VoiceCommand, as non-English friends have problems when install their language. I will provide cabs later.

I'v flashed S1L but I can't open txt... What program is to open normal txt files not docx because I know that is MS word for doc files... Can someone upload a cab for txt files... ?

Install ms-office <_< It's the default txt reader or find a notepad for wm

FOR DA TIME BUG

It works now

I had to Hard reset a SECOND TIME

Think some of us (no lucky men) have too Hard reset a couple more....

For me, 1st time for GPS which was not detected (hardware) and 2nd time for the time bug (works manually and Activesync synchro)

Wonderful work!

But I have a big problem with S2U2:

If I turn the phone into standby so that the screen is black S2U2 doesn't start automatically!

In all releases excpet the new ones it works great, but as I have upgraded my phone this days with the new firmware I saw that S2U2 doesn't work anymore.

Can anyone of you help me to solve this problem?

i have no problems with S2U2 try to install the latest Version then go S2U2 settings Then try on Lock when device wakes up

i can confirm now that the sms scroll bug has been fixed on build 21806.. delay tap though is still evident

In 21728 i think the flashlight didn't work. Now works... with 21806;)

As for the tcmp player phenom 3, i tried to install it and i could n t because the program didn't have the necessary privileges...or something like that.....any solution welcome...

What would you think about the WM6.5 start menu as a list? littld at xda-developers have done it for QVGA and I merely changed some screen size settings to fit the Omnia...

PS: Some talented imager can create a better looking selection bar graph for it I guess. Something like the panel selector at WM7 theme would be nice. (I'll try to do that tho)

It is subjective....for ex i like it...if it is configurable....for example....change the order of programs....lock the scroll bar....etc it would be nice...this is my opinion

I get that too. It says that the program couldn't install because it "does not have sufficient system permissions". I googled around and it seems to have something to do with some security setting in the registry but I couldn't find a way to fix it.

EDIT

Upon further search I found that this might be because of the new SYS. Some security thing from Microsoft.

Has anyone been able to install TCPMP Phenom 2 or 3 on one of the newer roms. I haven't been able to do it on R1L or T1L18.
