Hi! I've read about MS rebranding Windows Mobile to Windows Phone from version 6.5. If this is true then we won't be getting close to beta or RC until our builds show the new logo?

Any tips for getting TouchPal installed on on this ROM (or any 6.5 ROM for that matter) whenever I try It goes through to let me select the screen resolution but then pops up IE and tell me there is an error finding a particular file (cannot remember which one) and will not install past that.

Mine worked on the first try, I am using v4 now. Maybe you just got a bad install file or something?

Just a quick question while I wait for the next uber ROM and that very cool looking M2D clock.

Since I flashed to T1 18MB ROM opening films with Media Player takes forever ... like about 5 mins.

Before it was almost instant.

Is this due to the pool size? (Nothing else open)

Gonna flash to a lower pool size on next iteration.

Oh and my battery was poor but as Sector says after a couple of days it settled down.

Was in Protoras two weeks ago lazin in the Sun, drinking Keo. Been there twice a year for the last 7 years.

That is correct.

That is why you must use File Explorer or Total Commander while on the Omnia, not from PC.

New start icon end functioning signal bars, white or colored!!

Finally i managed to make a gsm wqvga-qvga wm 6.5 shellres.dll file.

Screenshots attached.

First file:shellres.96.dll.zipnew start icon end earth with colored bars

Second file:shellres.96.dll.zipearth and colored bars

Third file:shellres.96.dll.zipearth with white bars

MAKE A BACK UP FIRST

Delete the zip and copy to windows folder with something like resco explorer.If the replacement of the file is denied from the system then rename the file to shellres.96.dll.bak.Copy the file to windows folder and rename it there to shelres.96.Soft reset.Thats it.

The file for replacement should be shellres.96.dll

Finally i managed to make a gsm wqvga-qvga wm 6.5 shellres.96.dll file.

MAKE A BACK UP FIRST

Delete the zip after the dll and copy to windows folder with something like resco explorer.

This is the file responsible for the signal icon and signal bars in the top taskbar in wm 6.5 gsm wqvga and vga phones.

I have modified the file and the screenshot is the result.

It has nothing to do with spb shell.

It has only to do with wm 6.5.

Could you hook me up with your taskbar please? Not just the colors.

The file i attach has to do with the signal icon and its bars and the start icon.

No matter which taskbar you have you can replace your shellres.96.dll file with mine.

The rest of your taskbar icons will remain unchanged.

Did you try it?

I will attach the rest files of my task bar when i will clean the mesh in my windows folder.

You see, i had downloaded various taskbars before but none of them had bars in the signal icon and the start icon was unchanged.
