damn... my notebook doesn't support xp (compaq presario cq40-104ax) i've ever used xp and mod the driver for xp but it seems not optimal just like my desktop.

anyway thanks for your suggestion. and i would gladly if you have any web that giving xp drivers for my notebook to run xp optimally. hehe...

who said?? imusing CQ40-116TU core 2 duo, my friend using AMD and Core duo prosessor (same model CQ40-... TU) all can be installed with XP.. just google it how to install XP.. of course you should downgrade your BIOS version to able install XP on your notebook :D

Just quote the post that is like yours. If it is one that is very long, you can highlite and clip it down without screen shots, etc. before you add it.

i flashed the 21812 (Lite) Version U1aLite_14mb

its really nice but i got a big problem...

whenever i do a soft reset or if its necessary to soft reset because of a program

every setting and installed program is gone and it like i just flashed new even though i didn't

and it always restarts every time i soft reset if i don't calibrate it it doesn't stop

its really frustrating does anyone no how to help me?

Hi Sector (late happy birthday btw!)

I've noticed that Opera Mobile 9.7 available at opera.com doesn't include the samsung-like zoomer (probably not a big surprise). I'm just wondering if you have managed to include it in the one cooked in your latest ROM or if it's something I sholud just forget... I really think that the slide zoomer is a lot handier than the tap-and-hold+select+slide that comes with opera.

Would it be possible to activate it by installing the samsung zoomer cab?

The screen sensivity still can't match iPhone, any work on this part?

Another thing is skin on SMS, the SMS composing and viewing looks plain, anything to recommend?

The omnina screen like all winmo phones are resistive and not capacitive like the Iphone screen, thats why it will never be as sensitive. But then again you can use the screen with gloves on or with any pointed object while the iphone screen you can only use with bare fingers.

SMS-Chat by vito is a nice looking SMS app.

Hi sector!

I'm desperatly trying to get the wm 6.5 lock / smartlock feature to work, but it does not work as I expect it.

First: as some users mentioned before, I cannot answer a call with the hardware button. It leaves you with a screen with dialer open without a taskbar, so you cannot close it. It seems the phone is locked, but you can operate the open dialer as usual. You have to push power button (bring the device to sleep) wake it up, then normal lock screen appears and you can unlock the screen and operate the phone as usual.

Almost same behavior with my bluetooth handsfree - you can answer a call, but it leaves you with the above mentioned situation.

Second: when the device is sleeping it seems that there are problems to open gprs/umts sessions (for activesync with my office, titaniumweather updates). Titaniumweather is not able to connect to internet.

I tried with several settings in smartlock (enabled/disabled dim lock, incall lock, suspend lock etc.) no changes.

For now I disabled the wm 6.5 / smartlock thing and I am back to Su2u and everything is working as I expect it (answer calls, scheduled connections).

Are these problems Smartlock related or are they a result from the wm 6.5 lock? I'd really prefer using the internal lock saving performance and memory and no need for installing a 3rd party application.

edit: ah forgot to mention I'm on your latest (and greatest:-) rom.

Does anyone know how to remove Finger Keyboard?? It comes packaged with this ROM, so I gave it a try and now I'm stuck with it. Any ideas on how to go back to the original standard keyboard??

Just hold the hide icon on FingerKeyboard and it'll get you back to the standard keyboard.
