Hi everybody,

got a questioin, not sure if i can post it here...:

we're all updateing our roms, but nobody update's his/her phone part. Is it smart to also update this? and how does one do this?

The newest (and probably last) (semi)official rom for Omnia is DXID1 and it has been out for a while now.

If you already had installed a full rom based on the DXID1 release there is no need to update the Phone part since it's still the same. That's the reason why all the newest roms are released only with the PDA part.

If you have an older rom, there are several way to update the phone part.. read this very thread and you will find all explanations you need.

But probably the easiest way is to flash any FULL DXID1 rom so the phone part gets updated. Then you can flash the latest sector's rom :D

Anyone else unable to get notifications (new email, etc.) to work with this ROM while the Omnia's 'sleeping'? Everything works great as long as the screen's illuminated, but once it shuts itself off, I get no alarms, LEDs, etc. Not running any other exotic apps that might be causing this, either.

Anyone?

The last sector rom with phone part is his L2. I used this one and it worked well. And then flash one of his latest.

The new version of titanium weather no update. Always say invalid location. In setup I write EUR|ES|SP002|ZARAGOZA how in the old version but no update

Any idea?

Maybe you made mistake, it could be 2 times ES or SP for example:

EUR|ES|ES002|ZARAGOZA

I'm running 21806 right now and want to upgrade to 21815. Is there an easy way to back up my settings so when I install the latest release I dont have to go through all the personal settings e.g. ringtone?

Which Titantium version is this? I am using the one from Kuanchai's rom and the options screen nor the weather show up as nicely as what you have. Please let me know where I can get this version. Thanks.

sector, any chance of going back to net 3.5 instead of 3.7? A lot of softwares are incompatible with 3.7 at the moment, are there any advantages in using 3.7 now? Thanks for the latest rom btw

@ Sector: Unbelievable you fixed nearly all bugs which makes this Rom the most perfect ROM in the world now.

But I still have some bugs:

I still can't chose own apps for my Soft Keys...that should be fixed with the next update...

Another fix should be to answer your calls with the left button "answer button" and not just with the slide button when lock is activated..

But beside this, the ROM is unbelievable fast and stable....AWESOME!!!

Speaking of this rom i think i have some problems installing some app like pocke twitt it hangs and shows an error.srs wow doesnt work either.Appart from that great rom thanks Sector :D

Zoom Status + task manager from new Acer Roms. It works perfect in Omnia.

To make it work with Titanium wm6.5. just change registry value exclusive to zero.

Enable just ZoomStatus in Today items settings.

I've just updated my Omnia and everything is working. Have your tried to a hard reset?

Sector’s Rom 21812

I have no issues with the above setup, but is it really necessary to update the phone part to DXID1? What is the difference between DXIA2 and DXID1?. Great roms will donate at the end of the month.

everything else is good with 21815.. but the background always gray... e.g. sms.. time settings... etc.. i know sector is busy with his exam.. hope it will had a fixed eventually. thanks.. great job sector..

oh btw, touch responsive is somehow not that good as previous releases.. specially when sending sms using omnia native keyboard.. thanks...

Everything is working fine for 21815, touch response is good, keyboard is good, no grey background, java works with sounds!....

you download wrong version ? There is nothing much to fix, maybe its you only?
