I have no Problem with the Background no gray at all.

Current issues:

FTouchSL not working :-( damn Samsung scrolling

The 1% Battery driver still draining Batterie as hell. I flashed in the Morning and now after 5 Hours im down to 41% Batterie. No Calls just some SMS 3G dissabled.

I love your Rom's Sector but can't you just remove that driver ? Many having Problems with it. Some recharging cycles seem to help but not much and it takes at least 5 or 6 Days.

Not complaining just asking :-)

I think that battery driver rocks, no problems at all. I think that's the reason he keeps it in there, because not everyone has a problem with it.

I'm using jeffrey2000 glossblack which is blue in fact, and I don't have any grey background. Maybe it's app related? Hard reset and/or another should fix the issue.

+1, and i think the battery driver issue is not rom related, because I never had a battery drain problem since sector included it in his roms. Btw, i don't use FtouchSL.

1% battery driver not drain so fast and so much

Let it play 2 or 3 day

We already talk bout it and there is no noticeable drain wit it....

Dont read the screen just use your phone and wait till it shut down and compare to your older roms

3 or 4 day is not a pb to our SPA to get cool wit our SPA

If some of you guys cant wait ....just change rom

Correct, after a few discharge and recharge, there is no battery drain issue and my phone can last me 3-4days before i charge at 30%....

usage: radio in the morning, sms, calls and music in the evening....

Look what was been found. File System Cashe. By default it's 2mb, so if U change it to 1 mb system works much faster

strange after 6 or more cycles I had 35% battery power yesterday evening and the phone turned off at 6 o'clock in the morning....

I call it "draining"

i have to charge my phone everyday... but that's because HSDPA is on all day, and 4 mail accounts are syncing all day... even then the battery is still 40% in the evening...

I then turn off the phone and charge it when i am sleeping...

3G is enabled but there is no data traffic because I'm using NoData to avoid internet connections.... no other programs installed (except VITO SMS Chat)

did you update both phone part and pda to DXID1? Maybe it can solve the issue. (trying everything to find what causes the drain on some Omnias and not on others... :D

i dont know if its my fault , or from the ROM ..

since i updated yesterday to 21815 (Lite) i cant play it.

i tryed severall times to install it new. but allway same result.

it tryed to start, but in 1 ms task ends.

No Battery drain issue

Resco bubbles works fine

my findings are:

1. pagepool 0 (that is dynamic pagepool) is a great idea, earlier 14MB/18MB roms seem to make the whole system a bit sluggish, though worked smooth inside a program, but the overall system became sluggish and programs crashed sometimes. This one (21815) seems very stable and responsive to me.

2. on this 21815 rom, even after installing fTouchSL, kinetic scrolling not working. So scrolling through SMS/contacts with microsoft's default programs has become difficult.

3. I used SMS security manager (2.3) application to block SMS from some particular number so that they dont appear in inbox. That application is not working for the first time in this version of sectors ROM.

Just an idea, maybe my points 2 & 3 occuring for dot net CF 3.7?? sector please check this, and if so, u may think of keeping 3.5 version for some days till 3.7 becomes stable and bug free.

FTouchSL is fine, you just have to install and soft-reset. I am not having any issues here with battery drain, just needs a couple charge cycles. Also I seen someone mentioned to change File System Cache to 1 MB, how do you do that?

DXID1 german is the phone part... is there a big difference between german and english version? I dont think so, or?

Hi Puck,

Sounds really good. But need more details on how to make the change. Is it a reg change (where) or settings (what)?

Thanks,

Ron...

You can use AdvancedConfig for that.

SKTools>Tune Up!>System Memory and Speed>Scroll down bottom, 1 before the end "File system cache" clik on it, drop down menu on the top of the screen, select what you want, eventually 1024k. It should do the trick.
