DXID1 german is the phone part... is there a big difference between german and english version? I dont think so, or?

Es tut mir leid, aber 2 wochen nach ich habe der Omnia gekauft, habe ich die Österreichische rom in die wüste geschickt :D . I just saved it on my computer for warranty purposes, you never know. I can"t remember noticing some difference, language apart.

SKTools>Tune Up!>System Memory and Speed>Scroll down bottom, 1 before the end "File system cache" clik on it, drop down menu on the top of the screen, select what you want, eventually 1024k. It should do the trick.

I'm currently in the process of flashing my i900 with Sector's most recent ROM, but the updater is stuck on 11%, and has been that way for the last hour or so.

How long is the process supposed to take?

I think something must have gone wrong. mine usually only takes about 5-10 mins to flash. Have you got the samsung driver installed?

I think that's a possibility... but what else can you do? if it's stuck, it's stuck, nothinh you can do about it.

i've had a similar problem too once, and resetted my phone, restarted the flash app and tried again...

Thanks, but I'm not having severe problems such as those in that thread. All that mine is doing, is saying it's Downloading image (11%) and staying there.

Unplugging my phone, removing the battery, replacing it and powering the phone up makes everything normal again.

Ok, so I decided to try a different ROM.

Used the most recent Lite ROM from Khuanchai. This one got to 12% and hung whilst downloading the EBOOT.

I've installed the modem driver twice now (is it the right one though? The one I installed came up as a Samsung CDMA modem... Odd considering the phone is GSM).

Running Windows XP Pro SP3 in a VMWare Fusion VM on my MacBook. ActiveSync is installed and functioning.

Where am I going wrong?

the landscape one is for you to use as a background in the start (honeycomb) menu, you will need them both. As a today background, you know how to do it. As a start menu background:

1. Copy the files below from Windows to your Storage (you never know)

2. use Resco explorer and overwite the files in Windows AFTER renaming them: StartMenu_Background_Screen_240*400 portrait

StartMenu_Background_Screen_400*240 landscape

that's it!

You can check your USB: it has to be 2.0, not 1.0, plug your phone into a 2.0 only!

It's the Unibody MacBook. Only has 2.0

yep. same problem here, anyone have a solution? tried uninstalling, reinstalling, resetting and all that but still i always get the omnia scrolling instead of wm's.

I verified again with SK that the change to 1024 took - it did. I can't tell anything that really jumps out as being different. Do you know of anything in particular to look at???

The problem is that you are using a 6.1 theme. Change the theme and you'll see the bars.

+1 FTouchSL_2.10 isn't working anymore! I've also uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled, reinstallled etc. I hate the Samsung scrolling, it's crap! Someone help us!
