oh btw i have smth else to mention that i have noticed with qbus.

i was mistaken about the 0mb pagepool. You cannot do that although Pakko777's tool seems that it supports that it doesnt work.

I have manually checked the command to set it to 0 and it supports only integers from 1-24mb. Not more not less.

So im really sorry for the wrong info, and just to let u know that you are all using a 14mb pagepool size (lol). I will keep that also for next version.

I have a question and I hope someone can help me...

How can I add icons to my apps i added to titanium. I can't find icons but there should be icons cause when i go to "start" there r all my apps with icons. For example the Core Player, MemMaid or QIP

hmmm...in Windows there r many pics right and I've found these before but there r no pics for my apps...maybe cause I installed them not on My Device but on My Storage???

And my very last onw question for today ^^: In the last ROM- version there where an option to set soft-keys but that never worked cause after setting there was only default. Is there the possibilty to change Soft-Keys. I've found out how to change name in the new ROM but I can't get the Samsung Dialer to run...what path do i need to enter?

Ok, so I decided to try a different ROM.

Used the most recent Lite ROM from Khuanchai. This one got to 12% and hung whilst downloading the EBOOT.

I've installed the modem driver twice now (is it the right one though? The one I installed came up as a Samsung CDMA modem... Odd considering the phone is GSM).

Running Windows XP Pro SP3 in a VMWare Fusion VM on my MacBook. ActiveSync is installed and functioning.

Where am I going wrong?

Alright, after I interrupted it this time, seems the phone is bricked. Won't power on, even when plugged in to a charger.

Hi mmdpiti,

From a previous post : The last sector rom with phone part DXID1 is his L2. I used this one and it worked well. And then flash one of his latest.

Note that most cooked roms here do not have the phone part because the phone part does not change very often. Also the roms load quicker for us without the phone part. The phone part is just left as is on your Omnia when you flash with most of the cooked roms. You can tell a rom has the phone part if it is about 20meg larger. But not many do.

So get sector's L2 from first page and flash. after resets, check Settings\system\version will show you what you have. Then flash rom V1 or so and you should be what you want.

Some here have done it with just a file of the phone part. I think they may do it with Grandpix, which is more danger of bricking than the new roms that seem really solid in flashing now. I and others like the 2 flash approach better - L2 rom and then a new rom.

I tried nearly the whole night to find the path to enther in chome to get Samsung Dialer as left soft-key...but without success...

Hi sector,

Could you keep L2 rom on the second post. I see you need to get rid of some of them as there are a lot. :D

But I believe that L2 is the only rom from L2 to V1 that has the phone part included. If true, the late comers here need L2 to update to phone part DXID1 if they want to do the 'two flash' method to have the latest phone part on their Omnia.

Another choice is to include the DXID1 phone part one more time in your next rom release, and that can be the go to rom for awhile.

I recently installed V1 Rom (DXID1_21815_vV1L).

I have couple of problems, any suggestions to fix them would be of great help.

1. I'm not able to get weather for any of the Indian cities like Hyderabad, Pune. It says "Invalid Location, Please change in options".

2. Opera browser does not work form the today screen, getting "The file Opera9 cannot be opened" error. I tried installing new version and it works from programs but not from today screen.

3. How to get links in the start menu, i tried copy pasting shortcuts under "windows/start menu" but they despaired after a short while.

4. Where can i get Google maps for Omnia ???

5. The finger mouse is not working.

6. Are there any cab files available for mobile office and Samsung touch player.

Any help with the above will be of great help, thanks in advance.

Hello.Please check first post on this thread to find some answers.Finger mouse doesnt work for anyone still we are waiting for a fix.About new opera u must get a register editor and change opera path.By default its in \windows\opera9.exe.U must change to \my storage\program files\opera browser\operaL.exe.Note that the exe file is different now.After changing wait 20 seconds and soft reset.

About the shortcuts u have to creat them where the install files are then drag them to your desktop,then u must send them to windows\start menu\programs.

Hi I am using the 21815 Lite Version, I've disabled the 'auto kill for HTC Task Manager' in Advanced Options, and have disabled HTC Manager As well.

I'm running wktasks

I have about 30-40MB of program memory free. It seems that the programs will close automatically after sometime of idling if I've switched the focus to other programs... anyone encountered this?
