Guest pRoFeX Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 Hi, very nice rom, very fast and looks good!!! I got one Problem as you can see on my screenshot, the STO Image at the top of the screen is not working.. i.bmp why ? br stefan
Guest CPimentel Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 I used the i900 EXEcutor to put the new phone part in the latest of Sectors Rom's and flash my omnia with this new phone part. My first impression is that there is little difference. I'm in an office building where collages with an Iphone have 3G connections, and my Omnia does not get past GPRS... This did not change after installing this new Phone part. I have t-Mobile Netherlands as my provider. I made some test phonecalls and the sound quality was good. So for now I think that there is little profit in using this new phone part. I did not have the chance of testing the GPS functionality of the PUIE1 part, perhaps after my lunch brake. I have the sabe behavior regarding 3G connections. Wherever I am, if my phone is set to choose the Automatic Band, it will pick 2G connection only. I can only use 3G forcing the phone to connect only to a 3G network. I will try this phone.bin to see if this behavior, for god sake, dissapear! Keep you informed. []'s Cris
Guest Genix9 Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 Hey Genix the Multiclock download found in the goodies Section is a updated version or still the one like in the latest Rom ? I like the Idea and the Look but also had to remove it as it slows down the System a LOT :-D Thanks for your work Goodies page still has the same version. Busy with the next which should address the CPU utilisation dramatically :D . Once that's done we'll look at new features and other cool stuff. ;)
Guest djtosh Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 any fix for apps closing? i cant listen to music cos it always closes the app

Guest balbes Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 Hi, Sector. Vibration does not work in V1aLite ROM? And the interesting thing: after flashing work, then no. Thx.  Solution: http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...d-ring-problem/ After uninstall Opera, vibration working again.
Guest puga74 Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 Hi Sector, Can you check if the "Turn off" button of psShutXP is working in this rom. On my phone with your new rom, the turn off button just lets the phone go to stand by, same as what the standby button does. Thanks.
Guest vinbeaver Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 Wow, this is crazy... I'm not having any problems with vibration, apps closing, as far as music try using Nitrogen (IMHO I think it's the best music player out) and definitely not a resource hog. Keep up the good work Sector, as always your work is appreciated believe me.

On my phone with your new rom, the turn off button just lets the phone go to stand by, same as what the standby button does. Thanks. This button does not work, period. I think it does on other devices, but not Omnia. Unless sector is keeping things from me ;) So, what you are experiencing is normal. :D

Guest Hitchi Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 hi, just a newbie question, how can i record a call with 'new InCallRecord'? I've installed 21815 --> V1aLite thanks a lot! I also want to know this
Guest random_man Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 The in call recording can be started/stopped from a menu option on the lower right-hand side of the screen whilst in a call. Not sure where they get saved but you can play them back from the Notes application.
Guest bs0u0118 Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 (edited) Does anyone know how I can get the clock shown in Sectors opening post? The one just under the list of new additions to the latest ROM? The one with the big whiteboard with black letters I'm running 21806 at the moment, not the latest if that has any effect..... Guest ellaqezi Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 Updated all dpi96 to latest ones, now themes should work properly (at least for default WM) >>is that supposed to fix the right-alignment of arrows on pop-up menus? Fixed power off button conflict with honeycomb. >>was that a registry fix? cause when i restored through spb backup(including registry) i have the press-the-start-button,see-the-honeycomb thing again. please tell me what to change so that i don't get this problem again? More optimizations on registry. >>as above, the rom's registry was written over so i might have to manually add in those optimizations.. thank you very much for another brilliant rom!
